What are people saying (AI review summary)? This recreational center is highly regarded by many families as a favorite, offering a fun experience, especially with its popular wave pool. Positive aspects frequently mentioned include attentive and kind lifeguards who are vigilant with children, friendly front desk staff, and a generally uncrowded atmosphere on weekdays. Visitors appreciate the good selection and fair prices at concessions, as well as the ability to bring their own food and beverages. The recent remodeling is noted as an improvement, and an indoor pool with deeper sections caters to swimmers. However, some concerns were raised regarding a lack of sufficient shaded areas and seating, particularly during the Texas summer. There was also a specific complaint about the pricing policy for non-participating children, which created difficulties for parents requiring supervision for multiple children.

I live around the corner from this pool/rec center and it is our family’s favorite. Plenty of chairs/tables for your things. We always come during the week and it is rarely crowded, which is awesome. Concessions has a great selection and fairly priced. The lifeguards are all very attentive and kind. Staff is on top of things. We have spent much of our summers here. While there are many great pools in town, this is our favorite. The wave pool really sways us!
Oak point is awesome the lifeguards are very nice and always keeping an eye on the small kids. Not too crowded during the week days. Front desk girls are super sweet. I live in Richardson it’s worth my time to go there my kids really enjoy it. You can bring in your own beverages and food.
It's not fair that they charge me for two children when my other autistic son is not enjoying the facility. We paid $28 with just one child using the pool. Then they tell me that I have to be with the other child in the pool and I split myself in half.
This place is really fun and my family really enjoyed this place this summer.I really recommend, plus the remodeling is way better than the old pool. For the people who like to swim, there is a indoor pool with deeper pools for swimmers.I really recommend this place if you want to have fun at the pool and have a great summer.👍
Not enough shaded places or places to sit for a Texas Summer but still a great place to swim
