What are people saying (AI review summary)? The sports complex elicits mixed feedback. Many reviewers highly praise the friendly, wonderful, and organized staff, noting the facility's cleanliness and diverse range of activities and programs suitable for all ages, from children to adults and elders. Several individuals commend the value of the programs, with one even driving 45 minutes for their daughter's basketball league, and see it as a great place for community involvement. However, a significant negative experience was reported by one user who faced racial and linguistic discrimination and harassment from an employee regarding their ethnicity and English proficiency. This reviewer also noted consistent unavailability of a promised court area with a running track due to children's use and limited equipment in the weight room, ultimately leading them to leave the complex due to the hostile environment.

The staff and programs are wonderful. I drive my daughter 45mins to play basketball there. The experience is worth the drive for our family.
Most of the time I go ask her brother like in our printer paper send an email through my caseworker helping me walk with the papers and my daughter goes there and they’re very nice they’re very all of them they’re very nice
At the sports complex, they told me I could use the area of the court that has a running track. But after I signed up, they kept making excuses that children were using it, and it was never available. The weight room, for someone familiar with weights, can be a good fit since there isn't all the normal equipment found in a gym. But I was only there for a month, since on the first day I enrolled, an employee at the sports complex, who heard me speaking Spanish, went beyond his ethical standards and wanted to know about my personal life. He discriminated against me when I filled out my ethnicity information as African American, since I am a native of the United States and my father is African American, but I was raised in a Latin American country by my mother. For the reason that I don't speak English well. He disdainfully told me that I was Hispanic and that I don't even know how to speak English. That person basically harassed me with various attitudes for the entire month, and he even approached me and dared to ask why I was acting toward him as if I were looking for trouble. I'd rather get out of that complex; I'm not one for hateful people. I'm mentioning this so that people and the complex know about this situation so it doesn't happen to someone else.
I moved to Troy and wanted to help out in the community. I found the LCC was only a couple of blocks from my house so I stopped in. I was given a full tour of the facilities and was introduced to the staff. The staff was wonderful and I can't wait to help out with spring basketball league. This is an absolutely wonderful place for people of all ages. They have tons of activities and programs for kids, elders and adults. If you need somewhere to spend your time or even if you're looking for a GREAT way to help in the community you should definitely stop in and meet Shane and all of the staff.
