Specific pool temperatures for the Tippecanoe Family Aquatic Center are not publicly advertised. What are people saying (AI review summary)? This pool generally receives highly positive feedback, being praised for its cleanliness, attentive lifeguards, friendly staff, and overall good atmosphere. Many reviewers highlight the variety of pool options, including diving boards and slides, and appreciate the well-maintained bathrooms and visible management, making it a popular family destination. However, one specific negative experience was reported where key attractions like the splash pad and slides were unexpectedly closed without explanation, leading to severe overcrowding in the main pool, no refunds, and poor communication, which was described as "extremely bad business." Minor points for improvement include long concession lines, a policy against bringing canopies, and the ineffectiveness of restroom soap for removing sunscreen.

Everytime I took my kids pool has been clean, people friendly, but on july 8, 2025 let me say was the worst, and I will never return. The pool opened at noon which is fine, there was an adult swim at 2, again that was fine. But right after, the kids were able to get back in the water and it was maybe 5 min later everyone was made to get out of the spash pad, no slides no kiddy area. That was all closed. They never said what was going on. The pool was beyond packed and everyone is in the deeper pool you couldn't move. So after an hr of waiting around, another parent asked what was going on because they had just arrived, lifeguards said the spash pad wasn't opening back up.. no one got any kind refunds, no rainy day stamps. Nothing. People were out of money. These people who work there knew what was going on and they were still letting people in and taking their money knowing there was no room for people to swim. That's extremely bad business
We drive 30 minutes to visit this pool over all others. It has the best staff/lifeguards, atmosphere, cleanliness, concessions, and pool options (diving boards, slides, etc).
Update: have been over a dozen times now this summer and everytime its the same thing. Extremely clean, lifeguards are very attentive and focused on their roles, managers are around and keeping an eye on things, bathrooms are cleaned throughout the day a few times, the concession line can get very long fast so go when it's not adult swim, and all the kids play together great and haven't seen a single issue. My only recommendation would be to have soap in restrooms that will wash off sunscreen. It doesn't wash it of your hands after you apply, which then of course got in my eyes. So I just put a bar of soap from home in my pool bag from now on. A great family pool.
Jessica Ledford is my wife and she brings my three daughters a lot theses only one thing she doesn’t like and that is not being able to bring canopies
First time going here and had a great time. I will be taking my grandbaby back for more splashing fun.
