We came to the Denver Aquarium for one of our Service Dog events, and it was absolutely wonderful! The staff was incredibly welcoming and respectful of all 13 service dogs we had with us. Both our clients and the dogs had an amazing time! General Curator Ray was quick to respond when we reached out and immediately connected us with Group Sales Coordinator Colleen. From the start, everything was smooth and well-organized. When we arrived, Colleen personally came out to greet us, review the rules, and ensure we were fully prepared. She had everything ready—our wristbands, service dog guidelines, and even fabric strips so staff could easily recognize that we had already been checked in. The team also went the extra mile to make sure we knew how to safely visit the tiger area. They explained how our service dogs could wait with someone outside while we still got the chance to see the animals, keeping both the aquarium’s residents and our dogs safe! This is truly a fantastic place to introduce service dogs to live animals and train them around unique and exciting distractions. Thank you to the entire Denver Aquarium team for making this such a memorable and positive experience!
The Denver Aquarium is such a fantastic experience for all ages! The exhibits are beautifully designed, showcasing an incredible variety of marine life — from colorful tropical fish to sharks, stingrays, and even tigers. Walking through the tunnels and seeing the sea creatures swim all around you is truly magical. It’s not just an aquarium, it feels like an adventure. The interactive areas are perfect for kids, and the mermaid show is a unique touch that makes the visit even more memorable. I also loved the restaurant inside, where you can dine while watching the giant aquarium — such a one-of-a-kind experience. The staff is friendly, the facility is clean and well-maintained, and you can easily spend a few hours exploring without noticing how time flies. Whether you’re visiting Denver with family, friends, or on your own, the aquarium is definitely a must-see attraction!”
Stopped in while on family vacation in the area as an aquarium is always fun and was not disappointed! There was a fair amount to see, plenty of space for the crowd of the day even mid summer, and the place was extremely well maintained. Was a bit surprised they had a tiger exhibit but the tigers were also surprised people where in their home and decided to just stay in bed. I would visit again if we were in the area and if we lived in the area would certainly have a membership for the family.
A little smaller than I thought but such a cute aquarium! Plenty of open space to weave through the crowds. All of the aquatic animals are beautiful and adorable. We could spend about an hour there and it was so much fun. Definitely recommend buying tickets online since we were able to bypass majority of the lines by purchasing the tickets online on our phones when we got there. Now for my standard comments. This location is clean and well kept.
It was a nice experience. Crowded, but not oppressively so. I especially liked its proximity to the freeway. Parking was fairly inexpensive. The fish and other animals were cool and seemed well taken care of. I probably won't go there again, but that's mostly because I'm just not a fan of driving in Denver. If you've never been here, I think it's worth checking out at least once. The price pretty fair.
