Central Park Athletics is a large, multi-sport recreational facility located in Windsor, Ontario. It features a wide range of amenities including ice rinks, an indoor turf field, basketball courts, a bowling alley, a fitness center, and an aquatic center, making it a comprehensive destination for various athletic and leisure activities for all ages.
The aquatic center at Central Park Athletics includes a therapy pool which is generally kept at 92 degrees Fahrenheit (33.3 degrees Celsius), and a 25-meter lane pool with a temperature typically maintained between 80-82 degrees Fahrenheit (26.6-27.7 degrees Celsius).
What are people saying (AI review summary)? The facility receives mixed reviews, with many patrons highly praising its excellent indoor soccer amenities, including top-notch turf and a professional environment, making it great for both players and spectators. Positive feedback also highlights its cleanliness, modern appearance, ample seating, and good restaurant/snack bar, making it a favored venue for watching games. Staff are commended for organizing fun and successful children's birthday parties featuring activities like trampolines and Clip 'n Climb. Conversely, a significant point of contention is a strict policy prohibiting outside beverages, specifically water in personal mugs. This policy has led to strong dissatisfaction, with some patrons describing management as dismissive and unreasonable for forcing the use of facility water and disposable cups, and for employing security to enforce the rule. This has resulted in frustration, environmental concerns, and vows from some, particularly hockey parents, to boycott the venue due to feeling unwelcome and targeted.

This is my favourite rink to watch a game. You get a great view and stay warm. Great restaurant and snack bar. Lots of seating. New looking and clean.
Location of Clip And Climb Windsor - daughter loved it. Kids had a great time at their Birthday party. "It's fun, it has soccer and hockey and all sorts of things"
Fantastic place to catch an indoor soccer match. It’s not just about playing; it’s also a great spot to watch the action. The facility is designed to make it easy for spectators to enjoy the games. Whether you’re cheering for your friends, family, or teammates, having a crowd makes the experience even more exciting. The turf is top-notch and well-maintained. It’s clear that they’ve put a lot of effort into creating a professional and enjoyable environment for players. My team, the Windsor Wisers, plays here every week in a league organized by Soccer Windsor, and we’ve always been impressed by how smooth everything runs. It’s definitely one of the best indoor soccer facilities in Windsor, perfect for both players and fans!
The owners of this facility are a joke I was not allowed into the building with a mug full of water and ice. Not alcohol. Water. When the manager came to speak to me, I was told I had to dump out my water and use the facility's water instead. What a waste. I was also told I was not allowed to keep my mug with me and would have to use a disposable plastic cup. So much for the environment As a parent of hockey players, in a family of 6. I guarantee you, we will never spend money here. When I told him this, his response was “other will pay instead”. It's embarrassing that you spend so much money on signage to tell people that can't bring their own water in and employ security guards to harass people about their mugs of water. Those staff have anything better to do than that. This is a AAA arena. There are people who spend $1000s for their kids to play hockey. They come from all over Ontario and the United States to play here and you're not going to allow people to bring water or coffee into the arena? Then to pay security to make sure that people don't bring in their own liquids? That just makes people feel like criminals for wanting to drink water. Do they sell baby formula? That's still an outside drink. Does your licence cover that? I say again, I will never spend any money here. Ever.
Visited establishment for grandsons birthday March 07, 2024. Clean, fun, and a great staff that takes care of all tasks for the party rooms. Pizza and pop for the kids is always perfect after burning energy on the many trampolines. Thank you to the staff for making this day a great one for the kids.
