Good for sunny days but don’t go if it could thunder. Staffed by a bunch of children that would rather not work. They take full advantage any time they hear thunder, shutting the pool down so they can clown around. Supposed to be 30 min of no thunder but they decided to shut down for an hour. No option for refund or voucher even if you just arrived, have to wait it out or leave. This is not very good business practice. This is the day they closed the pool. We had a forty five minutes of sun before they opened it.
Really solid community pool that's perfect for families. We've taken our kids here several times this summer and it's become a regular spot for us. What I like about Winona Pool: it's affordable (always a plus), the kids love it, and there's actually decent grass areas with shade where you can set up and not feel like you're baking in the sun all day. It's nothing fancy, but honestly that's part of what makes it great - just a good, clean pool where kids can swim and play. The facility is well-maintained and the staff is friendly. Never feels overcrowded, even on hot weekends. It's exactly what you want in a neighborhood pool - somewhere you can go for a few hours, let the kids burn off energy, and not spend a fortune doing it.
My family loves this pool, but please if you could get a hot dog rolling machine to cook the dogs and a better ice grinder for the snow cones we’d love it even more. Hot dogs are always cold. Add some better ice cream choices like fresh made and we’d be in heaven. A bit tired of the packaged crud that most places serve. It’s not even ice cream.
Looking for a family friendly summer swim? This is the place! Zero entry for the little ones- slides and rock climbing for your older children. Shade trees bank the pool area and the concessions are abundant! Choose this venue if you want to enjoy a day at the pool. We discovered it on our trip to Loveland and it met everyone’s needs.
The slide, diving board and climbing wall are fun. I can still use the slide during adult swim which means I get 15 minutes of pure enjoyment cause other adults are lame and don't like fun No backflips off diving board is a lil sad though
