It was a visit for my daughter's 9th birthday July the 5th we had an awesome time the lions were just too long for the slides other than that everything else was good the alligators in the front are very interesting however for it to be Shipwreck Island we only saw a little piece of a boat in the front we enjoyed ourselves
It was a good was to spend 4 hours this weekend with the kids. It's showing it's age a little, and due to staffing shortages, they had to rotate between a few of the rides being open, and then closing for a while, which meant we couldn't ride the big green/yellow one as much as we would have liked. It can also be tricky getting a float to ride with, since here were too few out, and lots of guests wanting them. Typically overpriced food as well, but at least they didn't charge extra for parking as well, which some places do. Happy we went, wouldn't need to go back.
Bathroom gross……….get a LOCKER & GROUPON the RAGE & STORM is best slide but very overcrowded but not much to offer done in one hour in total I paid $45 have zero plans to go back unless someone else buys my ticket. Too many children running around not attended to by parents I seen one parent attempt to force a very small toddler down a big steps without holding his hand at all. Very chaotic overall… park isn’t well planned out at all. The cabana does not seem worth paying extra being right in the middle of the huge crowd at the wave pool.
I live in Jacksonville Florida and its too bad that there are no other water parks in the area because Adventure Landing definitely needs a makeover!! The prices are ridiculous and almost every game in their arcade doesn't work. I ended up buying season passes only because I went online and saw the price for one visit is 1/3 of a pass per person. Also the pictures on the website are clearly very outdated. The food they have is horrible and was expensive, it seemed to be microwaved. We ordered 🍕 and 🍟 which were not edible at all, the line was to long and the food took forever so complaing wasn't an option. I tossed the food in the trash before I wrote this and would've taken pictures of that as well as the pictures I included. I ordered Dippindots thinking there's no way to mess this up, boy was I wrong. My son tried ordering six different kinds and they kept saying they were out of everything so finally I told them to give me what they had. The two flavors were mixed together with a bunch of freezer burn for $8.59 for the small size.
I was very excited for this waterpark. But when I had arrived the person who had helped us get in did not know what she was doing. They were also selling phone holders to put your phone in them so that you could film a video but when I got up to the slide with the phone case holder they had said you can’t take it down the slide. So then they took our phone so after the slide was done we had to go back up ant get it. But overall the park was fun!
