Best-managed, most civilized pool in the area, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that an individual membership for the summer is only $170 -- the equivalent of one dinner at a nice restaurant, except in this case, the activity stretches over three months. I think the residents-only rule is a good one because otherwise, the New Paltz pool would resemble the county one, where the high incidence of children vomiting in the pool often means it's out of commission.

I live in Wallkill which is orange/ ulster county I wasn’t allowed to use the facility because I said I lived in Wallkill Which is part of ulster county even though the staff was very nice I think exceptions to the senior should be made, especially if I could verify my address very disappointed, but I found somewhere else that the young staff direct me to, and I had no problem there and it was Alster county also

What an awesome pool! Beautiful shade, the trees surrounding are gorgeous. The fact that a great playground is attached is wonderful. The pool is big enough that there can be small kid chaos and fun in one end, laps happening in the middle and diving and sliding fun in the very deep area. It's a bit pricey for admission, but so well kept. Immaculate bathrooms with showers. We came because the pool in Rosedale was unexpectedly closed, but I'm glad we discovered this gem.
