Spacious park equipped with 2 clean pools (one shallow and one deep) and helpful staff.
Specific information regarding the exact temperature of the pool(s) at the Town of Rosendale Swimming Pool is not generally published. As a public outdoor facility, the water temperature is likely to fluctuate with ambient weather conditions and is typically not heated.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviews for the Rosendale pool are mixed. Many visitors find the pool enjoyable and a good place to relax, with some opting for season passes, especially residents who pay less than non-residents ($14/day). However, significant concerns were raised regarding both staff conduct and pool cleanliness. One user reported a very negative experience with rude and unhelpful staff refusing bathroom access to a swim meet volunteer, while another praised the staff but noted a severe decline in pool cleanliness this year, citing visible hair, dead bugs, and bandaids. There was also a suggestion for season passes to offer additional benefits beyond just entry. Despite these issues, some patrons continue to enjoy the facilities and plan to return.

We had never been until today. We enjoyed it so much we decided to get the season pass. We can make it 9 times this season to make it worth it. Residents pay less money than non residents but our local pool is generally more crowded (because it's free). My only complaint about the pass is there arent any additional benefits (like % off food, discounted friend passes, etc). Simply 1 adult and 2 children. I'd likely come several times a week if we could have a guest. Otherwise it seems like a decent deal (after seeing some prices of pool passes in other towns).
Lovely pool but a recent interaction with the staff there that really spoiled the day. We had been visiting as my daughter was competing in a swim meet against the rosendale side. As parents of swimmers we are asked to volunteer for different duties one of which is timing the races. I had the second half of the meet and during this time have to stay in the same spot timing every race. At the end I went straight to the bathrooms as I had been unable to go for the last hour plus. The bathroom door was locked even though the place was still teeming with swimmers and their parents and the meet was finishing up. I asked to use them and was given a very rude response by the staff. I even explained the situation with having to time for the last hour but they were very blunt and said no. These swim meets are generally a really supportive and fun experience and a great way to be part of the community and their lack of empathy was astonishing.
The staff here are amazing! it is such a nice place to hang when the heat is unbearable. Always can find a spot and relax. I do have to mention just 2 things i feel the non local price of $14 is a bit much and for some reason this year the pool is just dirty...i get hair in my fingers when swimming around, msny dead bugs and a few bandaids floating today ewww. Some kids next to me were diving with goggles and they were talking to each other and said "oh my God dive with me look at the drain it's covered in hair!" Last year i dont remember it being like this. I hope maybe they can address this? Otherwise i love going there!
Nice park. Safe. Pool is 14$day per person for non Rosendale residents.
Enjoyed the town Rosendale pool immensely last year. I’m looking forward to my seasonal pass to enjoy it again this year.
