The skate park there has been fixed. Now, it is currently my favorite skate park in KY. Ollie's was my favorite for a long time. But then they closed down for good. Even though this park is outside. It has everything a skater can want in terms of obstacles. Lots of room for creativity. A+ in my opinion.

A great place to take the whole family to swim, work out in the fitness room. The only reason I am giving this a 3 star is because I noticed one of the lifeguards (a young lady) sharing several laughs with 2 young men (who were sitting on the side of the pool where the diving board is located) every time a certain young man jumped off the diving board. I thought this was very tacky. You expect it sometimes from other guests but when an employee is taking part in a situation like this it gives the whole place a bad name unfortunately.

The Pavilion is a great place for holding parties and or meetings in their Multipurpose room. However, they are getting 4 stars because when we arrived at our specified start time, the floors were covered with melted popsicles residue and trash from the day before. The tables and chairs were also in disarray. The room had not been prepped for us, even though the staff knew it had been rented the entire day with a start time of 11 am. They were also unaccommodating with a simple request on our behalf prior to arrival. However, the maintenance staff did a great job in a getting the room cleaned that morning once they were contacted about the room's dirty status. They continued to check in throughout the day to see if trash needed emptying or if we needed anything.

Went to lap swim as out of state visitor. Greeted and taken care of most excellently by Christa at front desk. Georgetown is fortunate to have such a nice community rec center.

No, it is not a 5 star facility BUT the kids had a blast on the slide, diving board, lazy river. Day passes are reasonable, and lifeguards are excellent - attentive and watching the pool at all times. Highly recommend!!
