Key highlights include the popular lazy river, which many find relaxing and enjoyable, and the fun water slide. The center is considered very family-friendly, offering activities for children of various ages (from 5 to 11) with splash and kids' areas, and shallow water (max 4 feet) perfect for younger swimmers. Guests appreciate the reasonably priced day passes, often made even more affordable with options like Groupon, and the snack bar's good prices and delicious food. I live in Lexington, and while we have some nice public pools, ever since I discovered sufoletta and the pavilion in Georgetown I prefer to make the drive here. Lazy river all the way baby! Getting to float my worries away with my sun hat and a podcast is *chefs kiss*. Now for the bad: The wading pool is icy. Interacting with the splash structure in the center of the wading pool is unpleasant and disorienting. I steer clear of it completely now and so do my kids. And since there’s never a soul in this area we’re clearly in good company. I can’t put my finger on whether it’s a problem with the pressure or volume, or just bad placement of the sprayers. It’s a shame. Surely something can be done to improve it.
We always LOVE when our dog Finn can play in the pool!
First time here at this Suffoletta center, it was very nice, great staff and enough help around if needed! Thanks for a pleasant experience
We had a fantastic day at Suffoletta Family Aquatic Center. It was very clean in and out of the water. There were chairs throughout the area. We enjoyed the lazy river quite a bit. The water wasn’t above 4 feet anywhere so it was perfect for our 7-year old. There is a 15 minute break/adult swim time on the :45 minute mark. We took advantage of the water slide during that time with no line! 😂 Day passes were available and super reasonably priced. The snack bar had great prices and delicious food. I wish something like this was in our area. 🏊
It's a really nice experience for the family we have. Our kids range from 5 years old to 11:00 and there was something for each of them to do. Not a very large pool person but the splash area and kids areas are great and the lazy river is very nice. The one slide they had is very fun! The Groupon made it very affordable as well for a family of five.
