What are people saying (AI review summary)? The water park is generally considered a good option for children up to 13, offering a sprayground, a medium slide, and a two-section pool for both play and lap swimming. Visitors appreciate the availability of free life jackets, a rental pavilion, an outdoor playground, and its often uncrowded atmosphere. However, significant complaints include overly strict lifeguards who excessively restrict children's normal play in the kiddie pool. There are also reports of unhelpful staff regarding broken vending machines and unavailable concession items, as well as issues with an unclear and rigidly enforced dress code that resulted in some families being turned away or asked to leave without a refund.

Don't use their vending machine that they have on their premises, and if you do, definitely don't go try and let the rude girl at the front know about it, to I don't know, maybe put up a sign that says out of order and will take your money. Not only was their concession also out of what I wanted, not a single person working here could care. Their response was to call the number on the vending machine to complain.
Great water park for children up to 13-ish. It’s not huge, but just right. There is a sprayground, 1 medium slide (height limit 48”) and a large pool which is sectioned off in two. One side for kiddies to swim in (3ft) and the other to do laps with lanes. You must do laps in the lanes but there is a section to the far end that you can just swim around in that’s about 6’3” deep. Enough seating area for the size of the park with a few umbrellas, first come first serve basis. A large pavilion that you can rent out for parties. There is a concession stand, but I am not sure what they sell and the prices as it was closed when we went. I did see one vending machine by the bathrooms that had water and sodas. There are also free lifejackets that you can use for the children. The spray ground is not big, but just the right size for children to have fun in with lots of water spraying everywhere and little slides for the children to enjoy. The water areas are fenced off to stop people from jumping in. Lifeguards on duty and sure that you adhere to the rules of the park. look at their website for park hours as they do close for an hour during the day, and admission fees. It’s no more than $4.50 depending on if you are a Tamarac resident or not. Plenty of parking and in a nice area. There is also a decent size playground outside that children can enjoy as well. We went on a Sunday around 2:30 and there was hardly anyone there. If you want to enjoy a day with your children, nieces or nephews and not have all the hustle and bustle of a crowded park, then this is the place for you.!
Nice, clean pool with a park outside where kids can soak up some sun. But apparently, fun isn’t allowed here. The lifeguards — all of whom looked fresh out of high school — spent more time blowing whistles than actually watching the water. The second your child dares to laugh too loudly or move suddenly, you'll hear a whistle. I was in the 3-foot pool playing with my own kids: wrestling, giving piggyback rides, even dared to ask who could hold their breath the longest — and every time, I got hit with a “You can’t do that.” When I asked why not, I got a simple, “For safety reasons.” No explanation. No logic. It’s a kiddie pool, not the open ocean. If you're planning to let your kids act like, well... kids — you might want to find a place where that’s still allowed.
We took our grandchildren there 2 days in a row. They absolutely love this place!
They told me my grandma and my dad that we had to leave because we didn't have swim trunks we only had are gym shorts we it was are first time there and we were not informed about any of the rules and payed to get in just to have to leave when we asked for a refund they told us we couldn't get a refund instead they gave us a pass for the next time we come but let's be honest im not going back there the guy that told us to leave showed us a sign and told us that the gym shorts were considered inappropriate attire but on the sign there is no where that says anything about gym shorts being inappropriate attire worst public pool ever never going back would not recommend staff are rude to
