Recreation area with a pool, play equipment, picnic areas, basketball and volleyball courts, and a walking path.
The pool at Riverland Park is generally heated to ensure comfortable swimming conditions, particularly during cooler months. Specific, consistently published daily temperatures are not readily available, but it is maintained for user comfort.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? Riverland Park receives mixed reviews from visitors. Positive feedback frequently praises the facility's cleanliness, well-kept pool area, and a family-oriented environment with staff effectively enforcing rules, making it a good place for children to swim. However, there are significant negative experiences, including a tragic incident where a child died, leading to serious concerns about a lack of security and cameras. Other criticisms highlight poor lifeguard management, resulting in long waits, delayed openings, and the closure of key attractions like the splash pad due to perceived insufficient staffing, despite multiple lifeguards being present. Visitors should also be aware that the splash zone and kiddie pool are only open on Saturdays and Sundays, and all guests, adults and children, must register to access the pool.

Saint Luke Baptist Church picnic celebrating 100th Church Anniversary 2017 at Riverland Park. We had a wonderful time and the facility was clean and family oriented. To God Be the Glory!
My GrandSon was killed at this park doing what he loved to do coming down the slide they have no security no cameras all me and my family has is memories of Baby Rylo I hate that park …
We waited until 1 to get in. The 4 lifeguards on duty came out and said it would be another 20 min. Then went into the air conditioned booth and sat on their phones. When they finally opened the gate the girl said that the splash pad would not be open because they didn’t have enough lifeguards. Literally everyone there was there with small children and wanted to go to the splash pad. So out of the 4 guards only 1 sits at the stand at the pool. I’ve been a lifeguard for 22 years and an instructor For 20. They had enough guards, and if not, then they should have put the guards on the splash pad and closed the pool. So we left. My 3 year old son was in tears my 7 year old was very disappointed.
GO HERE! Lifeguards on duty full time and it’s soooo clean! I love it here! Splash zone and kiddie pool is open SATURDAY AND SUNDAY only.
The pool area is very nice. The staff do a great job of making sure everyone follows the rules. You have to wear proper bathing suits. You also have to register to gain access to the pool. All visiting guest must register adults and children. Riverland Pool is a great environment for kids to enjoy swimming. The area is well kept my first visit but I plan to visit again.
