I recently hosted my daughter’s Bridal Brunch at Shackamaxon Country Club on March 22nd and I am so grateful that I chose that beautiful venue! From the moment I met Kathy (Director of Catering), I felt I was in great hands. The Club was renovated since I last hosted a corporate event there in 2018 and it is now very sleek and upscale. There was so much space to enjoy, it was like having a blank canvas to work with. I had stopped in to observe a baby shower event earlier in the year to get an idea of how to use the space to set up for our shower, and I was so glad that I did. I got many ideas from that visit and could see how the room ‘felt’ filled with decorations and people. We had a gorgeous flower bar that was so colorful & fun, and the exotic one-of-a-kind centerpieces made every table feel so beautiful. The staff was absolutely perfect and so attentive. Sean (Wedding & Events Sales Manager) helped with many things including technology and decorating, Francia managed a wonderful team to take care of us – and they did it all with white glove service and smiles 😊. The food was very delicious and plentiful...and of course the Champagne bar was a big hit. My daughter not only looked stunning that day, but said she felt like royalty. She was overwhelmed with how smoothly everything went and how gorgeous it was. I highly recommend Shackamaxon for any event you may have, they were a dream to work with.

Very pretty atmosphere. However, for the price of the food, it was OK. I have had better steaks had better value. However, very nice staff at the restaurant and beautiful ambience.

To all brides to be If you are looking for a place to have your wedding do not pass on Shackamaxon. I just got married here on Sunday 10/13 and it was the day of my dreams. From the first moment we arrived on the property before we even booked them to the last minute of our reception they provided everything I wanted and more! The grounds are gorgeous, the staff were amazing, the food was out of this world! They customized every single item we had from appetizers to drinks. Kathleen, Sean and the entire staff went above and beyond for us. Alex their chef made items my guest raved about and even went so far as to create a custom theme menu for us. We had our dream wedding thanks to everyone there!

We had our daughter’s Sweet 16 at the Shackamaxon Country Club and they did an EXCELLENT job! We received so many compliments on the AMAZING food and the service was great!! It was wonderful working with Kathy and Sean on all of the planning details. They were always so responsive to my many questions and very accommodating with special requests. I highly recommend the Shackamaxon for any event!
