When we got there the front desk lady was very nice, but when we got in the pool me and my family felt targeted. When we were on these turtle float things that you can sit on and when my younger brother got on it slipped and she yelled at him really rude so we decided to just ignore it and then I was swimming past her and she rolled her eyes and went to another lifeguard and started whispering. It was really rude and we felt there discrimination and i couldn’t believe she had the audacity to do that. It had changed a lot….i honestly will not go there that much anymore
This is a great place to have fun.One thing I love it how they have different zones for kids.Life guard are so fun they talk to you life if u already knew them. This place is one of the funniest places I been too
I was at this pool twice this summer. The first time my autistic 14 yr old son (pictured) went into the women's bathroom on accident. Manager approached me told me it wasn’t a problem but I needed to go with him. I explained he’s special needs and that I would watch and try to direct him to the mens. Today when we went he went to go in the womens and I redirected him to the mens and this same woman went and sent a male lifeguard in there With my son. I was in the pool with my toddler, but didn’t stay much longer as I felt discriminated against and targeted. Do not take your special needs children here. We never have issues at pirates cove but they were not open today. I will never go here again and that woman should be FIRED! I see many other reviews with special needs children stating some of these same issues. I can’t believe the owners allow this behavior, sooner or later a lawsuit will happen I know I left mad enough for one.
I took my kids here today and will probably never go back the staff r rude and they discriminate against my autistic son cuz he was jumping in and out the pool place has changed
Great. The manager is wonderful. I asked about a lift for handicap people to get in the pool. They came through with flying colors. Awesome. So much easier for my daughter to get in the pool.
