I went to Greenwood Park Bells Lake Community Club in Washington Township last Saturday, being invited for a 6 year old birthday party. It was my second time there, the first time I went fishing with my friends and kids a few years back. The day was warm but not so humid for a July day, and the lake and scenery were gorgeous, so inspiring, relaxing, and made me appreciate the long days of summer. This community club is awesome, clean, and full of features and activities to include the swimming lessons and the swimming teams it produces over the decades. There is the main pool area, another baby pool, playgrounds sectioned in different parts of the grounds such as swings and slides, basketball court, baseball or pickleball, fishing dock, also one can fish from some shore points, an awesome sand pier with a fireplace with great view of the lake, the lake itself has boats and kayaks to rent and to go fishing or just paddle along the lake, there is a lake roped off swimming area for those who can prove swimming capabilities, group pavilions that can be rented for group events, a snack bar and restrooms facilities, also there are grills mounted in place for those who want to do some cooking and barbecue or grilling. There are fees and memberships to access the club. For more information please visit the club's website since they list a lot of information on how to become a member, fees, and most important to read the rules and regulations for safety and wellbeing of all the visitors and members, and not to forget that they take safety seriously and there are lifeguards personnel and supervisors on site on all parts of the club, cleaning and removal of trash receptacles when gets full is constantly, which is a plus for the club. I highly recommend to go and visit the Greenwood Park Bells Lake Community Club in Washington Township, for an awesome day, to take the kids out for some sun and water and chill out far from electronic devices and indoor air for a change, you won't regret it
Family friendly, fun place. I was a guest at a party. And would consider joining next year. It was lively, the members were friendly and informative. There are lots of activities to join in. The bathrooms are older, but suffice. The staff seem to have a handle on the going and coming of guest and members and it feels safe for your family a d kids.
