Family-friendly recreation center featuring a gym a rock wall and clean facilities.
The aquatic facilities at the Anthem Community Center generally feature heated pools. The lap pool is commonly maintained between 80-82°F (26.7-27.8°C), while the leisure pool is often kept slightly warmer, typically around 84-86°F (28.9-30°C), though exact temperatures may vary.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? The Anthem Community Center is widely praised for being a beautiful, clean, quiet, and respectful facility offering a vast array of activities including rock climbing, swimming (with waterslides), tennis, basketball courts, table tennis, and a well-equipped gym. It's noted for its spacious general areas, locker rooms, and suitability for all ages, including K-12 day camps, and even offers job opportunities. However, a significant point of frustration revolves around the pool's management; members report issues with staff not adhering to the posted schedule, unlisted closures for events, frequent interruptions for lifeguard drills, and lap lanes being unavailable during peak after-work hours, making it unreliable and inconvenient for those seeking consistent swim workouts.

Lived here for about a year now and this community is something else. Clean, quiet, respectful and most importantly beautiful. The Community Center has SO much to do from playing tennis, rock climbing, table tennis, swimming, waterslides, working out at their gym, playing basketball on their basketball courts and so much more. I LOVE Anthem.
BRAIN POWERS has enjoyed hosting our DAY CAMPS at the community center, and we look forward to returning to provide more fun educational learning & in-person socialization and executive functioning development for K-12 students
This place is a good place for spending time and hanging out in the community there is activities such as rock climbing swimming and there’s also job opportunities, such as lifeguards. There’s something for everybody here!
Amazing community center, i absolutely love how spacious the general area is and there are fun activities. They have rock climbing inside, a pool with water slides (i believe they are refurbishing right now), a Gym, Locker Rooms, Showers, and stuff like that. Absolutely amazing place
The community center has a beautiful pool, water park, basketball courts, and a lot of exercise equipment. Unfortunately, even though the pool has lap lanes and scheduled hours, the staff could care less what the schedule is. I've attempted to get a swimming workout in on multiple occasions when they have closed the pool for events that are not listed on the public schedule. By the time you prepare, drive there, and find out access is denied, you've wasted a considerable amount of time; too much to be able to get a different type workout in. It would be a fantastic facility if they were dependable. Even when access is available, you continually are interrupted by their lifeguard drills where everyone has to evacuate the pool. I'm all for safety, but train on off hours. One more thing about the schedule: Lap lanes are closed between 4:00 and 7:30pm for "programs." If you work, this is when you get off work and want to get your exercise in. This clearly indicates that the lap lanes are not for members, but only for their revenue generating programs. This rant is done and I am done with the Anthem Community Center's worthless pool.
