Family-friendly pool with a kiddie slide, diving boards and 2 spiral sleds.
While specific pool temperatures can vary based on the season and the type of pool, competitive pools at facilities like the Carson Aquatic Complex are generally maintained in the range of 78-82°F (25.5-27.8°C). Leisure and play pools are often kept slightly warmer, typically between 82-86°F (27.8-30°C), to ensure comfortable conditions for all visitors.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviewers generally praise the pool facilities, describing them as beautiful, fun, well-maintained, and not overly crowded. Positive aspects include friendly staff, ample bleacher space, a shallow play area, and free life vests for children. However, a major and recurring complaint across multiple reviews is the extremely limited and continually shrinking pool hours, which significantly restricts public access, especially on weekends and into the fall. Many feel the hours should be greatly extended, citing it as a publicly funded facility. Another significant issue highlighted is the failure of the pool and other aquatic complexes to update their online information regarding seasonal closures, leading to frustration and disappointment for visitors.

Beautiful wonderful fun pool. But they keep those pool hours so tight, you’d think they had a diamond growing operation down there. Here’s a suggestion: pool hours-7 days a week, open 7am to 10 pm. Quit being so stingy with such a desperately needed publicly tax dollar paid for recreational facility. There’s no excuse for it.
The pool is great. Staff is friendly and helpful. Hours stink! Summer passes used to be worth something. Now the hours are getting so limited... Only people with free afternoons can take advantage of it. Even Saturday hours are cut. It's really sad. And why they don't staff the pool for Saturdays through the fall swimming, I honestly don't know. When I was a teen guard, I would have been thrilled to pick up a few hours guarding every week for a Saturday job. They're already heating this pool into November for the swimmers... So why the waste? The community swimming together has become a thing of the past because of the rec department limiting the hours so much.
This pool and other pools list open time of 1pm today on their websites. All of them are closed for the season. Which is ridiculous. It's summer and 110° outside. I packed up our pool gear and got ready. We were there today at 12:45pm, so we could get in early and have a good spot. But no, they were closed. My six year old started to cry. If you're closed, Carson Aquatics Complex and every other surrounding public pool, you must update your online information so this doesn't happen. Zero stars C.A.C. ~Jason Crismon
We were here for a swim meet, and they had plenty of bleacher space for everyone. The pool looks newer and well maintained. The ran the swimming and diving simultaneously, so the meet could go faster. There's also a shallow play area (not in use during the meet, of course).
Person pool was pretty awesome! My kids had a blast. They also have free life vest for children. The thing I like most about this place is but it’s not packed. Definitely going to take my kids again next summer.
