What are people saying (AI review summary)? The reviews paint a mixed picture of the aquatic facility and surrounding park. Positives highlight the pool as amazing, clean, well-staffed, and inexpensive, with refreshing water temperatures, making it excellent for serious athletes and training. The facility includes a small weight room and a kids' water park, and the larger park offers a lake, exercise equipment, shade, and benches. However, significant dissatisfaction stems from frequent closures, particularly during hot weather, leading to concerns about wasted city resources. There is also a strong need for improved communication regarding schedules, as current lap swimming times and weekend closures are often not updated online.

It's disappointing that this facility is closed most of the time with the weather above 100 degrees. It feels like a waste of city resources and tax payers money to have the facilities closed 90% of the time especially considering how much tax revenue Scottsdale generates. This is unacceptable.
The water temp is great - so cool and refreshing. So glad they're open for the summer!
Amazing pool. Clean, well staffed, and inexpensive. I would avoid going at peak hours in the summer if you are there for lap swimming. In the winter, and early mornings you can practically have the whole pool to yourself. Great for people training for triathlons and what have you. I have been going here for a year or so, and I have never used the little weight room. I have poked my head in there. A few dumbbells going up to 60lbs I think, and a bunch of machines. It looked well equipped for some light lifting. All around good place for serious athletes. There is a small water park for kids. I don't have any children, but it looks like it would be a good place to bring them for an inexpensive summer outing.
Wonderful park with Geese and ducks ~ large lake ~ aquatic center ~ Many excercise apparatus around the lake to improve your workout experience. Nice trees for shade and benches to chill on.
They don't have current schedule on web site for lap. I went on Saturday the 7 th and they are now closed on weekends. Please have current monthly schedule posted.
