What are people saying (AI review summary)? This public pool receives generally positive reviews, highly praised for its cleanliness, refreshing water, and ample shade which provides a much-needed escape from Arizona's summer heat. Visitors appreciate the variety of features, including simple water slides, lap swimming lanes, and a beach entry kiddie splash area, making it suitable for all ages. The pool is noted for being well-maintained with a strong lifeguard presence. However, some common criticisms include limited operating hours (not open during the week), poor event management leading to overcrowding and long waits for special events like 'movie in pool,' and a negative experience with security's handling of a street person near a children's area. Additionally, the bathrooms are identified as needing updating, though some understand the focus is on pool amenities.

Great. I will come back. Wish it was open during the week.
I brought my teen and tween here for the Float in Friday Mobile Play through the city of Tempe. They enjoyed games. The water was cool and refreshing. There are two lanes reserved for lap swimming and two water slides. There is a beach entry with kiddie play and splash area. It wasn't very busy for a Friday afternoon.
This pool is my go to for a reprieve from the hellacious AZ summers! Always clean, and so relaxing!
I really wanted to like this park all the way but it's a "3 star" from me. The response from security and Tempe P.D. to remove the street person sleeping next to the kids slide was poor. They went to look at him and left him there. Now, it's super awkward for everyone because they didn't want to bother him. Not cool at all. I'm not that young and that's the first time I've seen that. Also, the movie in pool was full by 7:30pm (starts at 6:30pm, capacity 300)and a lot people left 10 after it started because they had waited for 2 + hours to actually start.
This is a really nice public pool. It's a great example of how things don't have to be complicated. There is enough shade here, in fact every chair and seating area has shade. The pools in City of Phoenix have like, maybe one measly shade. It's seriously embarrassing. Kiddos love the simple water slides, the pool is clean and well maintained. Life guards everywhere. Bathrooms are the only part that need updating but understandably, spend your money on the pool. I get it.
