Clean, Olympic-size facility with lane pools, diving boards and water slides.
Specific daily pool temperatures for Kino Aquatic Center are not readily advertised. However, public aquatic centers typically maintain competition and lap pools in the range of 78-82°F (25.5-27.8°C), while leisure pools are often kept slightly warmer, around 82-86°F (27.8-30°C), to ensure comfortable conditions for all users.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? The reviews offer a mixed but predominantly positive perspective on the facility. Many patrons commend the pool's cleanliness, diverse amenities including lanes, slides, and diving boards, and its suitability for swimming lessons, citing knowledgeable instructors and reasonable pricing. Unique positive experiences like relaxing floating sound baths are highlighted, along with thoughtful touches such as sprayed walkways for comfort. However, one significant negative review details an extremely poor customer service encounter with a specific attendant, Rachel, who allegedly denied lap swim access despite available lanes and misrepresented her authority. A minor point of caution was raised regarding the heat in the upper bleachers during summer.

Worst customer service I've experienced in the great state of AZ, having been to many pools, as an avid lap swimmer. On a Saturday, a desk attendant named Rachel, who I later learned falsely claimed to be the "supervisor," decided to bar me from the pool with 4 lane openings available. I asked other desk attendants and guards at Kino and they all said it makes no sense. The background: there were 30 minutes left for lap swim on Saturday, and whoever reserved the lanes online was not showing up. I swim there every day and this was never a problem with anyone else. The reservation policy on Saturday's doesn't really work to begin with, but if they don't show up, others are allowed to wait and get in, if there's space available. So if everything is reserved, I wait. Last Saturday, four slots were open in the water, with 30 minutes left, and a lady named Rachel was forbidding me from lap swim, claiming to be the supervisor, when I have paid a membership like everyone else. No other guard or desk attendant has ever treated me with such rudeness and unkindness. I'm actually afraid to go there this Saturday because I don't want to run into that person again. Maybe I'll go to a pool further away instead to avoid the worst service ever, by far.
We had the most amazing time doing a floating sound bath. It was so special and completely relaxing.
A great pool. Lots of lanes, slides and diving. Great pool for the major USA Swim events. Be careful sitting in the upper bleachers during the summer months, you get blasted by the heat! A spiral slide for summer play swim
Came here from out of town for swimming lessons and was very happy with my experience! I was happy with how clean the pool was, especially after a monsoon just the night before. All of the instructors are knowledgeable and very well trained in CPR. Prices for classes are very reasonable, too!
Lots of fun! They spray the walkway which is nice to not burn your feet
