What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviews for Maax Spas and its associated logistics operations present a mixed picture. Many customers highly praise Maax Spas, citing them as the best hot tubs they've owned due to powerful and well-placed jets, quiet operation, ease of use, excellent insulation, and long-term durability, with some reporting over 8 years of maintenance-free use. Users often highlight their effectiveness for pain relief, especially for arthritis, and their cost-effectiveness regarding electricity consumption. Several long-term owners vouch for Maax's quality over decades. However, a significant negative review details numerous product failures, including the sound system dying within a year, jets popping out, control failures, and, most critically, a long-standing factory flaw causing a leak around the filter tank that led to internal rusting. This customer expressed extreme disappointment with the company's lack of support for the factory defect and the financial burden it created, especially for someone relying on the tub for medical relief. Separately, feedback regarding the shipping and logistics aspect is also mixed. Truckers are strongly warned to avoid a particular shipper due to unsafe loading practices, unstable products, insufficient help with tarping (requiring specific large tarps to prevent damage), and unfair charges for product repairs. Conversely, another review from a different perspective at a facility notes positive aspects like early morning load times, food truck availability, and hard-working, friendly staff, although uncomfortable heat conditions are mentioned.

I have had many different brands of hot tubs over the years in many different states. Maax Spas, hands down, has been the best by far. From the most powerful jets in the best placement, to the ease of operation, this Spa is the quietest spa I ever owned. I couldn't be any happier with my purchase. It's been maintenance free for over 8 years now. I'm 60 years old, my Maax spa has been the best pain relief I have. I'm in it twice a day sometimes. I'm in Northern California where we're paying a premium for electricity. When speaking to my neighbors and friends that have spas, I can tell you without a doubt mine has been one of the most cost effective spas around. Kudos Maax for making my world a better place Glenn Herring
I have owned a few Maax Spas over 30 years in 3 different houses. Hands down one of the best built and insulated hot tubs around. Very easy to maintain.
Truckers, stay away from this shipper! They will load you up to legal height, will give you a ladder and will have you to tarp the product with no help! The product is unstable. To cover this product fully, you will have to have atleast 10ft TARP!!! Otherwise your 8ft or 6ft tarp will damage those spas. All charges for repairment will be on YOU. The receiver will charge 120$ per hour for labor(they told us that they will charge us with 70$ per hour to be "easy on us"). Even if the broker will confirm that 6ft tarp is fine - DO NOT TAKE THE LOAD, you will be charged 100%. Almost every load having this same isue and all responsibility in on truckers.
Early morning load times are the best !! Breakfast from the taco truck!! These guys work hard and they're really nice! Love coming here except when it's 500f LOL
Sound system died before a year. Jets randomly pop out. Controls have now failed. I have had several items replaced under warranty screens pumps etc with the worst part was finding out the leak around the filter tank. This had been leaking for a long time from a factory flaw. The repairman simply put a ceiling on the other side which did not last long. Now this tub has seen some age and everything inside is rusted. Absolutely appalled the company would not back this factory flaw up. Has someone who uses the tub mainly for arthritis and joint pain I am not in the financial bracket to be replacing such items.
