Community-run, L-shaped pool featuring lap lanes, a diving area and a snack bar.
Specific pool temperatures for the Forest Hills Private Swimming Club are not publicly advertised. As a seasonal outdoor facility, the pools are typically unheated or minimally heated, relying on natural warmth from the sun and ambient air for comfortable swimming during the summer season.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? The facility features a large, L-shaped, heated pool that is generally described as clean and well-maintained, offering varying depths, lap lanes, a kiddy section, and a small diving area. However, some negative feedback notes poor diving block conditions, issues with the splash pad randomly shutting off, and strict rules regarding flotation devices. The snack bar typically offers reasonable prices and good selections, though service can be slow. A significant point of contention is the strict residency requirement, which has led to frustration and accusations of discrimination from non-residents previously allowed entry. Entry rates are considered high by some. Additional amenities include a large grassy lounging area with seating and umbrellas. The venue can also accommodate gatherings, providing ample space and a medium-sized kitchen, but a strong urine odor in the bathrooms was highlighted as a major drawback. Lifeguards are perceived as strict, while other staff are generally friendly, attracting a diverse crowd of families and individuals.

Fantastic pool. Large "L" shaped, 12 ft at one end, 5ft in the middle, and slopes to the kiddy end. Very clean and maintained. There is also a hot / cold snack bar with very reasonable prices. You do have to be a resident of the Boro to go.
Terrible place, diving blocks are in poor condition and the pool itself. Splash pad shuts off randomly, my swim team swam there recently and there team TOTALLY cheated and the snack shack was ok, I guess. But I had to wait an half an hour for my popcorn. DO NOT COME HERE
What injustice, this is discrimination.. If a week ago they let us in, they charged $40 dollars for 2 adults and a child. Also, last year they let us in all the time and today they tell me that I can't come in because I don't live in this area. I'm from Wilkinbrugh.. doesn't seem fair to me 😞😡
A beautiful heated pool. No rafts etc permitted. There is a Kids’ section (apparently kids aren’t permitted to use life preservers even with parents right there, as it gives a false sense of security). There are lanes for swimming laps and a tiny diving area. Rates are kind of high. There is nice diversity in the crowd and lots of families but also individuals. Lifeguards frequently blow the whistle at kids. Huge grassy hill with plastic adjustable chaise longues and big umbrellas, concessions stand has good selections. Some kind of chess club some days. Friendly staff.
I found Forest hill private swimming recreation area is a great place to hold a gathering of about 50 people. Lots of space and tables to sit at. The kitchen was medium size and perfect for a small gathering. The only think that I feel needs more attention is the bathroom odor. Very strong urine odor. Other than that the room was perfect.
