I recently visited the newly remodeled LA Fitness in Port Saint Lucie, Florida, and I was thoroughly impressed! The gym looks fantastic with the new equipment and layout. The updates to the locker rooms are especially noticeable. I especially love the new lifting room, it gives a bit more privacy and looks amazing. The staff was friendly and welcoming. There’s a great variety of machines, weights, and fitness classes to choose from, so I never feel limited in my workout options. The overall atmosphere is motivating, and the gym’s cleanliness and organization really stand out. This location has everything you need, I would highly recommend checking it out!

*****Update. 5/8/25 Just wow. LA Fitness did the much needed Remodeling. All new flooring, new machines, new weight racks, Rogue Equipment and now dumbbells up to 125lbs... It is looking more and more as if the franchise owners of the facility don't care about its members. Nor do they care about the cleanliness of the Gym. Equipment is in for service for weeks. Needing repair. The water fountains barely work and produce warm water with very little water pressure. For months one of the fountains always has a red bucket to catch the dripping water. The carpet is old and worn out. In addition the entire carpet is filthy with dirt, water stains everywhere. Looks like it hasn't been steam cleaned or replaced in years. In the morning (5am), the trash cans are full from the night before. The Towelettes are littered throughout the facility and water bottles on the floor. Weights almost always remain un-stacked and the dumbbells are rarely returned to the rack. Many of the barbells are warped or bent. There are many pieces of equipment that need replacement. The pads on certain equipment are torn or cracked. DO BETTER LA FITNESS

I went to the LA Fitness in St Lucie west today. I have not been there since the renovation. I am very disappointed in what the gym has become. There is only one crunch machine and machine for curls. People are sitting idle on the machines on their cell phones and making it worse to gain access to exercise. There needs to be better supervision. I've been a member for 4 years when it was in Tradition. I will probably not go back to St Lucie West LA Fitness. I will now go to EOS Fitness when it opens in October 2025.

I would never in a million years support this business. Telling a female they can’t use the women’s locker room because of their hair length and because another patron complained? You’ve gotta be kidding me. Discrimination at its finest. What’s next? A whites only/blacks only water fountain? We are really going back in time here…. Shame on you LA fitness.

I have been a member of LA Fitness gym, located on Port St Lucie West Boulevard, Port St Lucie for almost ten (10) years. I continue to be a member because of the friendly atmosphere both from the members and staff. The front desk staff members always greet you with a smile and wish you a good workout and wish you well as you leave. The facility is clean compared to some other locations I have visited. I have always had a trainer, who have exhibited mild, kind and caring demeanor, especially my current, Nick k. he always pushes/encouraged me to work to my full potentials. I will continue to attend this gym as long as I am able.
