Indoor pool primarily known for providing swimming lessons.
Specific pool temperatures for the Reynolds Aquatic Center are not readily published online. Community and school district pools typically maintain water temperatures for general comfort, often ranging between approximately 80-84°F (26-29°C) to accommodate various activities like recreational swimming and lessons.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reynolds Pool receives high praise for its swim lessons, which are described as phenomenal, effective, and offering great value. Many reviewers highlight that children learn quickly due to attentive teachers who prioritize safety. The staff, including manager Erin, are generally friendly and helpful, and lifeguards are often noted for their vigilance. However, the facility itself is consistently described as old, run-down, and in need of renovation (specifically mentioning locker rooms, bleachers, and pool stairs). Despite its age, it is frequently commended for being very clean and well-maintained without common issues like mildew. A point of disappointment for some is the lack of open swim scheduled for the summer, and one review mentioned staff appearing unorganized and not seeing lifeguards, contrasting with other positive observations regarding lifeguard presence.

My kids are currently taking swimming lessons at Reynolds Pool. After trying to make up for time lost during covid, we have utilized three different lesson sources for my kids to learn how to swim, and this has been our best experience over the course of seven years. I paid more money elsewhere for fancier buildings and "branding," if you will, and yet the lessons were lacking, with my children coming out the other end disappointed that they could not swim any better than before. The Reynolds Pool and facilities are definitely run down. The bathrooms honestly look like they are from the 50s (I really like the retro signs though), and everything is pretty dilapidated. However, everything is also very clean most of the time, and I have yet to run into any stinky, mildewy smells, or foul toilets (which I did encounter at other fancier facilities!). The teaching here has been phenomenal! My children are learning quickly and gleefully, and the teachers are paying close attention to each student's needs. I also appreciate that the teachers don't put up with naughty or dangerous behavior, and will require a child to exit the pool if they cannot listen and therefore be safe. Erin, who manages the program, has been friendly and helpful, and her employees seem happy to be there. There is always a lifeguard on duty, and I can tell they are frequently scanning the pool for children underwater. I strongly recommend swimming lessons at Reynolds Community Pool, the price and quality are great!
While I LOVE this pool and the swim teachers, I am hugely disappointed that there is no open swim scheduled this summer. Stay safe everyone.
I went to watch my son at swim practice. It was great! They had multiple age groups/levels practicing throughout the pool. The students from Reynolds do the teaching. Picture is my view from the bleachers.
Very run down building. Locker rooms really need a makeover, as well as the bleachers, and the stairs inside of the pool. Staff seem nice, but appear to be unorganized. I also didn't see any lifeguards. Hoping the school district is able to fund a renovation for this much needed resource for our children and community.
Very nice place...old but clean...grandkids had a swim meet here
