What are people saying (AI review summary)? Aqua-Tots generally receives high praise for its friendly, welcoming staff, clean facilities, and positive, family-friendly atmosphere. Many parents, including first-timers, commend the instructors for their patience, encouragement, and ability to make children feel safe and comfortable, leading to rapid progress and genuine enjoyment of lessons. Instructors like Lauren and Simon are specifically highlighted for their effectiveness. However, one review detailed a negative experience with Coach Hailey R., who was criticized for a lack of patience and inappropriate teaching methods when a child was fearful, resulting in the lesson ending prematurely. This incident raised concerns about inconsistent instructor approaches and the need for better support during instructor transitions, despite most coaches being excellent.

We enrolled my daughter when she was just over a year old. And I was so nervous as a first time mom. We’ve been attending for months and absolutely love it. We just love my daughter’s instructor Lauren. My daughter had such a difficult first lesson and after just 2 more lessons she was like a whole different baby. She loves it. The facility is clean, the staff members are friendly, and the instructors are amazing. I highly recommend to anyone with small children.
As first-time parents, finding a swim school where our daughter could feel safe, supported, and happy was so important to us. Aqua-Tots has exceeded every expectation! From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with warm smiles and such a positive, family-friendly atmosphere. The entire staff is incredibly sweet, patient, and genuinely excited to be working with the kids. Our daughter absolutely loves coming to her lessons, and we’ve been so impressed by how understanding and encouraging the instructors are. They’ve created a space where she feels comfortable learning and growing, and as parents, that peace of mind means the world. We truly couldn’t recommend Aqua-Tots more to other families, especially those new to this journey.
I would like to share a very disappointing experience my son and I had today with Coach Hailey R. My son has been studying at this swimming school for about one year, and this was the first time he had a class with Coach Hailey R. Unfortunately, the lesson lasted less than 10 minutes, as Coach Hailey R asked my son to leave the class without completing it. The reason was that my son was afraid to dive into the water. Instead of using patient teaching methods or encouraging techniques (such as toys, tools, or gradual water introduction), Coach Hailey R forced him into the water. Naturally, my son was scared and held onto her arm tightly. At that point, the instructor simply removed him from the class. This approach was very discouraging. A new coach should give students time to get familiar and comfortable, not force them or dismiss them from class so quickly. We drive about 30 minutes to attend these lessons because we want our son to improve his swimming skills. To have the class end after just 10 minutes without proper effort to teach is very disappointing. Most of the coaches at this school have been excellent, and my son has made good progress over the past year. However, sometimes coaches are changed without notice, and my son needs time to adjust to a new instructor. Coaches with patience, teaching skills, and understanding can make this transition smoother. I hope the school can review this situation and ensure that instructors approach students—especially those meeting them for the first time—with patience and proper teaching methods. We value this school and want our son to continue learning here, but we ask for better support and understanding from all instructors.
Fun environment, great/motivational instructors, Friendly staff. My daughters love attending their swimming lessons and they wish their time was extended because 30 minutes just fly by & isn't enough to them🤭They really enjoy it and are always looking forward toward attending their next swim lesson! I'm happy to see my daughters' fast progress and excitement into advancing to the next levels💞
