this is a gigantic park with multiple soccer fields baseball diamonds play area, a swimming pool lots of parking and a smaller area for just lounging on the grass. The reason I give it one stars is because of the amount of drug dealing and drug use that happens on its property. This happens throughout the day.

Pool is great. Staff is horrible. The city hires a bunch of random, inexperienced, incompetent young people who only care about their phones. No real qualified lifeguards on duty. Capable of guarding someone’s life. They’re focused on everything else but swimmers in the water. They all lack care and consideration. Their for the social scene, lounging, looking “cool”, amongst each other and that’s it. Swim at your own risk. Also the facilities haven’t been updated in years. Changing rooms, bathrooms are ancient. They used to offer refreshments years ago, guess that wasn’t affordable anymore in the city budget. Now guest are left desperately to go to parking lot basket vendors.

Washington park is a safe clean n pleasant park to visit with friends and family so u can enjoy a game a baseball with friends n fam or simply enjoy watching a scheduled lil league game... Great for all people of all ages
