I am very happy that I enrolled my child here. First, the flexibility of the schedule. We have an irregular schedule so good thing in Aqua-tots they can accommodate to our schedule adjustments. Second, the staffs are friendly and acccommodatin in person but i find it hard for them to answer our calls or return our calls they say due to high volume of calls they receive which is acceptable for me Third, the place is nice, warm and clean. Fouth, some coaches were very nice and knows how to handle a toddler very well but some arent that very good maybe they are the new coaches Fifth, they also have an app that let’s you see the schedule and adjust your schedule. You can also see the progress your child is making. Overall, we are glad we enrolled our 3yr old child here. My child will be able to learn a lifetime skill in a safe and fun environment. We can see the big difference from our child’s confidence level and now she is having fun.
Our daughter has gone from bobbing above water with floaties to loving jumping in & sliding down our pool slide! It’s night & day compared to last summer and all of this started with her first lessons at Aquatots with Brandon (who is still a fave of hers!!). She is confident, loves to swim, and her roll over to float on her back is impressive! She moved through Level 3 relatively quickly and is now working on more independent swimming in Level 4. She can’t wait to ring that graduation bell again!
My almost 4-year-old has been attending Aqua-Tots twice a week for about two months now. Overall, we’re happy with the swim school. The staff and swim coaches are friendly, and most of them seem to work well with young kids. I also appreciate the locker room setup, which includes useful essentials like plastic bags, hair ties, and a sink vanity—though they’re now down to just one hair dryer. The facility appears clean. The pool water is heavily chlorinated. One downside is the frequent turnover of swim coaches. We’ve had several substitute instructors, which could be a concern for children who benefit from consistency. Another frustration is that we pay over $250 per month for 30-minute classes with four kids per group. There have been several instances where classes started late and ended early, which makes it feel like we’re not getting the full value. For example, today’s class started 3 minutes late and ended 5 minutes early—even my toddler noticed how short it was. I have brought it up to the staff and I understand there may be not a good solution. That said, we’re overall pleased with the program and hope these issues are just temporary due to the busy summer season.
Absolutely amazing swim school! We’ve had a phenomenal experience at Aqua-Tots in La Mesa. Our 1.5-year-old has been attending classes here and we couldn’t be happier with the progress. The instructors are incredibly dedicated, patient, and nurturing, which makes a huge difference for toddlers just starting out. They create a safe and supportive environment that builds confidence in the water, while keeping it fun and engaging. The staff genuinely care about each child and it shows in every interaction. Highly recommend this swim school to any parent looking to give their child a strong and positive foundation in swimming. We’re so grateful to be part of the Aqua-Tots family!
We have been going to Aqua Tots for about a month now and my son loves it. He's two and he has so much fun every lesson. The staff is professional and nice. We also love the make up class policy, which helps with our busy schedule.
