Last year I was looking for swim lessons for my then 7 yr old daughter and I happened to come across this school. It was new to the area, so it was easy to get my daughter enrolled and had smaller classes than what I was used to with my other children who have received lessons at other places. The small classes sizes continued almost the whole time my daughter was enrolled, 4 or less. All of the British Swim school team members are friendly and willing to help with any problems that I had. And there were a few since the app they use was a work in process and kinda still is. But like I said, their willingness to help in any way made up for the app issues. The instructors were also fantastic and friendly and obviously what makes the swim program shine. They seem very swim knowledgeable and adapted to each child’s different learning styles well. I was impressed that in about 9 months they got my daughter who was scared to try and swim, to a level where my daughter wanted to join a swim team. They are a great place to learn to swim and i highly recommend them.

Thank you for teaching my son to swim well. He barely trusted to get in a pool when he started earlier this year now I can’t get him out of the pool after a lesson or extracurricular water activity. The owner and instructors really take the time to understand where each student is coming from and meet them on their level at each lesson. I am very grateful for your team British Swimming School of El Cajon and Santee.

We have had a wonderful experience with British Swim School. My 4 year old started in November, and has been able to move up through the different classes. The instructors are so caring and always explain what they notice about her swimming that day.

Instructors are very friendly and adapt to the both the level of instruction needed and mental headspace of their students. 1 on 1 focused tutoring and parents are welcome to join in. Organizers are understanding of personal situation changes and work with you to accommodate as much as possible. Overall a wonderful experience and our first pick for swim lessons.

British Swim School is AMAZING! My 9 year old was terrified of swimming, even though he grew up around pools in the family. He had to use a life vest because he's so tall (size of a 13 year old) or some type of floaties to get in the pool. My Grandma had a pool growing up and taught all of us to swim since babies, but MY son has always been so scared to learn. Not ONLY did they teach him how to swim, they also taught him survival skills like how to float if tired from any swim stroke, how to swim to the side to grab the edge, how to get out of the pool, how to call for help. I cannot recommend them enough! Thank you, British Swim School!
