I’ve been using the Santee YMCA for a while now, and it’s honestly one of the better gyms I’ve been a part of. The staff are consistently friendly and approachable - they say hi when you walk in and are always available if you need help or have a question, but they’re not overbearing. The gym itself is really clean, which I appreciate. The equipment is in good shape, and I rarely see anything out of order. Even the locker rooms are kept up nicely, with working showers, plenty of space, and no weird smells - which, let’s be honest, is not always the case in gyms. One of my favorite things is that it’s not usually crowded, even during busier times. I don’t feel rushed or like I’m constantly waiting for machines. It’s easy to get in, do your workout, and go without the usual gym frustration. The pool is also great . it’s well-maintained, and there’s usually room to swim laps without bumping into people. Overall, the vibe here is low-key and welcoming.

First time visitor to this wonderful facility this Tuesday morning in July, I was absolutely thrilled with the environment: mothers and children laughing and playing, everybody's smiling, and the Men's Locker Room was clean, bright and spotless! A special thanks and recommendation to Mathew at the Front Desk, who was simply magnificent! 10 stars out of 10! I'll soon be back to this terrific Cameron Family YMCA in lovely Santee.

I love this YMCA the staff are always friendly, the equipment always works and is always clean, the pool is always warm even on days where the weather is cold. The showers are always clean. This is the best YMCA for my family. Thank you team for all your hardwork

Pool is too cold for classes and just walking in shallow part. Been missing my exercise classes cause water is too cold. Been told heater isn’t working right. Monthly fees are high and I don’t know why the facility can’t regulate the water temperature. This is unhealthy and frustrating since this is how I stay fit but these last few months have been bad where I can’t work out in pool. Why!!!!
