Users report frequent, unannounced closures of the pool, particularly on Tuesdays, due to chemical imbalances, and criticize the lack of transparency regarding its operational status, noting inconsistent hours and confusing situations where the pool appeared closed but people were swimming. One review also expressed appreciation for military service.

One way in and out, and the pretty little bench they have in front of the guard shack is just in the way of truckers making the turn. You won't hit it, but you'll want to. They should really move it. Our 156-inch sleeper makes all the turns, no worries.
My respects for everbody in the Military God bless everyone and thanks for your service.🙏
That pool is ABSOLUTELY disgusting! Swimming in bird feces and half eaten fish rotten in the bottom of the pool is beyond me. How can the Navy allow this disgusting harboring parasitic pool being in use. Have no idea who to contact about that, but they’re not cleaning their pool. And that right there is a health hazard.
Great facility. One down side is that every Tuesday, the pool is shut down due to chemical imbalances from water treatment the night prior. The hours/site doesn’t annotate it and there is no mechanism to check if the pool is open, other than finding out when you arrive. Due to the narrow operation windows, the time frames tend to be very busy.
Inconsistent hours, no longer open in the morning or evenings. Today, the door sign said temporarily closed due to water chemicals. But there were people swimming in the pool, with life guard present. Doors were locked on the building at that time. This was witnessed at 1200. I'm not sure what's going on.
