What are people saying (AI review summary)? The Poway pool is highly acclaimed as the 'best pool in San Diego County,' distinguished by its exceptional management, kind staff, and incredible lifeguards and swim instructors. Patrons consistently praise the super clean water, lack of chlorine irritation, and diverse facilities, which include a deep end for free swimming, a kiddie pool, a 4.5 ft deep area, swim lanes, two diving boards, and unique 50-meter long course hours. The facility also occasionally features floating obstacle courses, is well-maintained, and offers highly effective swim lessons for all levels, as well as being part of a larger complex with other recreational amenities like baseball fields and a skateboard park. One minor criticism noted was the lack of clear signage for accessibility in certain areas, leading to an irritating experience with staff.

I’ve been swimming at this pool with friends and family for several years now. The manager here is absolutely incredible. The staff are the kindest, most sweetest people you’ll ever meet, the lifeguards are incredible, this is by far the best pool in San Diego county! They even have 50 Meter long course hours which most pools do not offer. Absolutely love you guys over at the Poway pool. Thank you so much for everything you do.
Best pool in San Diego. Super clean water, never too much chlorine smell or irritation. Super deep side for free swimming. Kiddie poolside with steps. And a large 4.5 ft deep area for a little bit bigger kids. Swim lanes, two diving boards, one just a few feet and another about 8 or so. Both are fun. Sometimes the floating obstacle courses get brought out. Good place for a family party or neighborhood takeover.
What an awesome facility. The swimming pool is awesome and there are baseball fields, skate board park as well as other activities. This is very well maintained and everyone is having a good time. There are all levels of swimming instruction and our 4 year old grandson has been going twice a week and loves it. His swimming abilities have really progressed.
My son just finished his 1st set of swim lessons of the summer, and his instructor was amazing. Ethan is patient, encouraging, knowledgeable, and fun. I can't wait to see what the next level of classes bring.
Nice swim center. On the other hand, any labels or signs regarding the accessibility of certain areas would be appreciated. Being bothered by staff about not being in certain areas with my niece was really annoying and irritating.
