What are people saying (AI review summary)? The swim school receives strong praise for its instructors, with Valeria, Matt, and Diego frequently highlighted as amazing, wonderful, and effective teachers. They are commended for making learning fun, engaging students, creating a safe environment, and being caring and kind. However, the school also faces significant criticism. Issues include poor conditions for lap swimming, characterized by overly warm and dirty water, hairballs, cloudiness, and a lack of lockers. More seriously, there were complaints of alleged racial profiling and harassment by a lifeguard towards a mixed-race family during open swim and class, leading to feelings of being unwelcomed and concerns about safety due to the lifeguard's behavior. Additionally, negative experiences with scheduling and billing were reported, involving unauthorized charges for lessons and poor customer service, partly attributed to a third-party scheduler. One negative review did note that the company was responsive to their complaint and expressed confidence in their efforts to rectify issues.

Valeria is amazing! We currently working with her for the Parent and Me Class. She is a wonderful teacher, my son is super excited to see her every class. She has taught him in both beginner and advanced. Matt is another awesome teacher as well! He taught my son in the beginner class too. He cheers him on from the sidelines since he has moved out of beginner and intermediate class. The fact that he remembers his name and talks to him every time he sees him in the water even thought my son moved out of his class . 10 out 10 recommend this swim school! They are very caring and kind !
Not the place you want to go for lap swim. The water is way too warm and honestly pretty gross. Lots of hairballs and cloudy water. No lockers for storage, which I could deal with if the water was at least clean. Update: I was immediately contacted by the company who is taking my complaint very seriously. I feel confident they will rectify the issues and look forward to trying them again and changing my rating to a 5!!
We used to love coming here. Weve been going there for a year now but that changes today. Ive even recommended this place several times to others looking for a place to teach their kids and babies how to swim. My sons last class we paid the extra fees for my other two to swim in the open swim area. We were hounded not once but twice about who we are by the lifeguard and they went inside to question about us. They didnt do that to anyone else. I offered to show him the wristbands i was told to not put on the kids because they fall off. Then he constantly paced around watching us closely like we were about to steal the pool or something at the same time kept leaving to talk to the office staff leaving kids unwatched in the pool. Talk about safety concern and profiling and harassing my mixed race family. They didnt do it to anyone else. We brought it up to the front desk staff who let me know they will talk to the lifeguard and that he did go up there to ask about us. We wernt doing anything wrong. My husband is active duty and im retired military so we arent criminals. We decided to give it another try and today it was just my husband and baby for his class. They went for the class and after went to the free swim area for the allowed 10 minutes of free swim after and before class and my husband was hounded again. No one else was asked but my husband. This feels very unwelcoming not to mention racist since he didnt have a problem with any of the white families. What happened to you all?? Im so disappointed in how your establishment is turning. It used to be great and welcoming and a place where my kids could learn to swim and have fun while bonding.
NOT RECOMMENDED. I bought a 4 pack of lessons for my toddler to sample the services. I was running late for a lesson and called ahead. I was told they moved us to the next open slot just 20 min later, and it was no problem. In reality, they ran my lesson as a no-show and charged me for the next lesson. Then, when I called and talked to someone about it, they assured me they fixed it in the system. But, instead, 2 of my 4 lessons were charged against my balance without my approval or scheduling. In short, I paid for 4 lessons and received 2 because I was held up by a car accident creating traffic once. I can't pretend to explain how this made sense to them. They use a third-party scheduler that can not back up coordination or customer service. Do not spend your money here.
Super great swim school! Diego, my son’s instructor, is an amazing teacher and makes everything so fun! He teaches very well and makes my son feel safe and has learned so much from him. Best instructor my son could have!
