I’ve been going to the 24 Hour Fitness in Automall for a while now, and the decline in cleanliness and professionalism is hard to ignore. At 3 AM, you’d expect a gym to be quiet and organized, but instead, the front desk often looks like a break room. Staff member are sitting around having a full-on feast with a group of “members” who seem more interested in socializing than working out. Meanwhile, the actual gym floor is a mess — weights scattered everywhere, trip hazards around every corner. The restrooms are consistently filthy — trash overflowing, dirty floors, and broken fixtures. It’s clear that cleaning and maintenance are not a priority here. Most of the cable machines have been out of order for months, with no signs of repair. This is completely unacceptable for a gym that charges monthly membership fees. The only reason I still go here is because I work out at 2 AM and there are no other gyms open in my area at that time. If there were, I’d leave this place without hesitation. And before 24 Hour Fitness responds with the usual “Please reach out to us so we can address your concerns” — don’t bother. That’s been said before, and nothing gets done. In most cases, you won’t even get a follow-up response. This location needs serious management attention. Until they address the cleanliness, enforce gym etiquette, and fix their equipment, I can’t recommend it to anyone who’s actually looking for a place to work out.

Extremely low quality and dirty gym. Always dirty. No one ever cleaned any of the treadmills. The paper towel rolls are always empty. The water fountain has dirt sticking on it. The sanitizer bins are empty. The most used machines are overused and broken. The stretching area has rolls of hair stuck on it. Do not waste your bucks in such a dirty gym

I've been coming here for a while now and in the beginning it was awesome but the sauna and steam room have been out for months. This is the only gym I go to because of the sauna and steam room. 🥺

I had an amazing experience at 24 Hour Fitness! The facility is clean, spacious, and well-equipped with everything you need for a great workout. What really stood out was the exceptional service—Manager Gill went above and beyond to help me with my membership. He was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and made the whole process seamless. It’s rare to come across such genuine and helpful staff. Thank you, Gill, for making me feel welcomed and valued. Highly recommend this gym to anyone looking for a supportive fitness environment!

When it comes to lane swimming at this location, I would rate the experience a 2 out of 5. There are 3 x 25 yard / 23 meter lanes. The pool water was murky giving it 1.5 out of 5 for visibility and cleanliness. Users of the pool were respectful and accommodating to lane swimmers. The Jacuzzi jets were unfortunately not operational during my visit. However, the water temperature was pleasant, and around 40°C, which was a plus. Both the sauna and steam room were out of service. In the locker room, there were plenty of lockers. The floors could be swept and mopped on an hourly basis. Three shower stalls were not functioning, 75% of the soap dispensers were full, which was appreciated.
