What are people saying (AI review summary)? Overall, feedback for the swim lessons is mixed but leans positive, with several parents highlighting the effectiveness of the program. Many praised the skilled, patient, and engaging instructors who help children, from 7-month-olds to 5-year-olds, gain confidence and make significant progress in the water, quickly learning skills like floating and independent swimming. Positive aspects include small class sizes, the convenience of an app for scheduling, and in some cases, comfortable water and room temperatures along with convenient amenities like baby changing stations. However, one review described a very negative experience due to poor pool hygiene, including dirty, hazy water and an overpowering chlorine smell causing eye irritation. Despite this, a highly professional and helpful staff member, Ksenia, led to the family giving the location another chance. Water temperature was noted as a minor concern for one child, while others found it warm and comfortable.

We recently signed up for swim lessons for my 5 year old and it's been a great experience so far. After months of trying to get off waitlists, it was so nice to find this program where we could start immediately. The class sizes are small and the instructors have been great at connecting with my child and making him feel at ease immediately. FYI, my child prefers warmer water so it's a bit chilly during the lesson for him, although it doesn't seem to be a problem for other kids.
I went with my God Daughter to her swim class. it was the most horrible experience there. The pool was looking dirty and hazy the whole pool smelled like chlorine wasn't breathable. My god daughter came out of the pool and tells me that her eyes were burning. That was not good was furious about this. how can you run a swim class with that type of environment. The only great part is that the lady named ksenia. who was helping me and my god daughter. Was super professional giving us the help and other things. she was a great help. I told my brother about this incident of her daughter. Was not happy but i told him about the help of Ksenia and all this he's going to give this location 1 last try. all cause of the great help of Ksenia. There's not a lot of people like her anymore.
So far our 7-month old has had one lesson and we are really happy and very impressed with BSS. Our instructor, Serena, is really genuine, kind, professional, and knows her stuff. It’s apparent the staff are highly skilled trainers and are passionate and engaged. He was the only Tadpole so he got an 1:1 private lesson. Our baby got so much out of just one class. Thrilled to see how he develops over the next few months. I was nervous about if the room would be cold, if the water would be cold, etc. It was very warm and comfortable. They also have a baby changing station right next to the pool so you can get little ones dried off and into a fresh diaper/clothes quickly. Benches right next to the pool so parents can watch and listen to the lesson. It’s a great experience! Worth the fees. We will keep going back until he is a full-on swimmer!
This summer, my 5 year old has gone from not knowing how to float to independently going underwater and swimming through a hoop.
The swim instructors are great. There are many locations to choose from. The app is great because students can schedule absences and so much more there. I would say that my sons confidence has j proved with the water. The instructors are very patient and understanding of a child learning to swim.
