Beautiful outdoor pool. Shout out to the City of Oakland, Listen to Wood Street Residents!!!! They are the experts on what our vulnerable, unsweetened population needs!

This is a beautiful pool. The shower is the best among all the city pools. They redid the deck area and bleachers. Staff are also extremely helpful and nice.

Clean and well-maintained pool and locker room. Friendly staff and no one here does any of the myriad sketchy things I see people doing in the pool at my gym.

I live in the area and didn't know this pool was here. As i walked up to check it out this nice young man asked if I needed help and I explained to him how i lived in the area and just discovered the pool. He introduced himself(Leon) and began to show me around. Which was very nice on his behalf. I gave me a brief description of all the programs and open rec pool times. He introduced me to one of the other managers and he was also very friendly and welcoming as well. To say the least I've signed up my son for swim lessons and have been back quite a few times for the open rec swim and we've always had a pleasant time. Neighborhood is not the best but the staff and people are very nice friendly and welcoming.

Just scheduled an adult swim class and looking forward to it! Love the easy accessible location. Clean and well maintained. Overall excellent opportunity to swim. Affordable classes can be booked with Oakland Parks and Recreation online. Neighborhood is safe. Parking is great. This is located in a mostly residential community in close proximity to some long-standing industrial zones. Out of town people (transplants) villainize Oakland but take the advice of a local that you are absolutely safe while swimming at this pool. A West Oakland gem!!!
