Spacious outdoor facility featuring a 50m Olympic-size pool plus a smaller pool for kids.
Specific pool temperatures for the Witter Aquatic Center are not consistently published, as it is an outdoor, seasonal facility. Public aquatic centers typically aim to maintain their recreational pools at a comfortable temperature suitable for swimming and play, though this can fluctuate with outdoor conditions.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? Witter Aquatic Center receives praise as a clean, well-maintained facility, ideal for swimming with features like lanes, deep water for adults, a water slide, and a separate children's area. It's noted for its well-organized layout, ample parking, and safety with numerous lifeguards, making it suitable for both swim meets and general recreation. However, a significant and recurring complaint is its extremely limited public operating hours, often only one day a week, which many reviewers find unfair, especially given its location in a low-income neighborhood, and poorly communicated, causing frustration for potential visitors.

I love this pool it has swimming lanes and a playground a water slide and lots and lots of deep water to swim in for grown-ups you can get away from the crowd if you know you know reading the other reviews I noticed the open public swim exchange it's because all the schools use this for lap training... It's the best pool in town for actually swimming and it has a separate swimming area for children
I recently had the opportunity to attend a swim meet at Witter Aquatic Center in Spokane and I was thoroughly impressed. The facility is incredibly clean and well-maintained, making it a pleasant environment for both swimmers and spectators. The layout of the center is very well thought out, contributing to the smooth running of events and ease of navigation for visitors. Furthermore, the parking situation at Witter is commendable. With ample space and good organization, it completely eliminates any pre-event stress related to finding a parking spot. The experience at Witter Aquatic Center was truly enjoyable. Whether you're participating in an event or just coming to support, this center makes for a great destination. I look forward to attending more events here in the future and highly recommend it to anyone in the Spokane area.
my 6 year old son loves it. it is safe here, there are many lifeguards, clean, and not many people
I used to give them five stars but now I can only give them one how are you going to only be open one day a week but all the other pools in town are open five or six days a week. I'm sure this has something to do with budgets and money but cutting off an entire neighborhood from a very needed service especially a low-income neighborhood is out of line. Y'all could have shut the other pools down one day a week and kept this one open four days a week. That would have been much more fair and equitable.
We walked like a mile with my 5-year-old autistic Son just to find out the open swimming is only on one day which they did not specify anywhere which is complete bs
