Our stay was among the best hotel stays we've ever experienced! There was a sense of community. We loved the outdoor space; we were able to grill out, relax by the fire pit. The hotel was clean and the staff was wonderful! The manager even cooked for everyone one night. Emily and CJ were especially kind and helpful. We would absolutely stay here again!!

We were in for two nights for a charity event in Glen Dale. Our stay was great! The hotel itself is very clean and comfortable. Emily at the front desk was great! From the first greeting, questions throughout our stay and just plain old conversation. She was wonderful! We’ll definitely stay here again on our next trip through.

We can't say anything bad really. About the only negative was the outdoor grills and utensils could have used a cleaning. It was about the easiest check-in we have had. The room was comfortable and very nice, and surprisingly spacious. The lady during the day was very nice and the man at the desk at night was very and nice and helpful. He helped us with the outdoor grill. We made a pizza we had got from Kroger and it was delicious. I really liked the fact that we could see the Mound and the WV Pentiantary from our windows. Kroger was within walking distance and we used the microwave for dinner one night and the pizza oven the next night.

If you are in need of a hotel in the Moundsville area, you need to stay at the Holiday Inn Express Suites! It is probably the cleanest and best-appointed hotel in this price point. My husband and I are frequent Marriott guests, but our stay here has changed our minds. Emily was working the reception desk upon our check-in and she could not have been friendlier! She ensured our check-in went smoothly, and even called the room a few minutes after to make sure everything was to our standards, which it was. She gave us dinner recommendations and information about what to see in the area, all with a smile and warm professionalism. Our room was spacious and immaculate, with a comfortable king sized bed and a zero-entry shower. One of the touches we especially liked was the black-out shades covering the windows. We took full advantage of the hotel pool and hot tub, which were conveniently open 24 hours a day. The area was clean and towels were readily available. Breakfast service, which was included with our stay, started at 4am daily, and featured plenty of choices, including fresh fruit. At checkout, I spoke with Molly, the hotel manager, and paid her our compliments. She was so nice and also pleased to hear we enjoyed our stay. If we are in the area in the future, we will definitely return to this hotel. We wouldn't even want to stay anywhere else!

The Hotel staff Dave, Emily, Emma, Ryan and Daniel were so wonderful. I know there was Two other women staff and I'm sorry I don't remember their names. One was the wonderful woman who made/served our breakfast and the other was a front desk staff. All very friendly and helpful !
