What are people saying (AI review summary)? The aquatic center is praised for its large facility, well-maintained pools with numerous lanes, and its inclusivity for diverse age groups and children with challenges needing therapy. However, there are significant recurring complaints about staff, specifically concerning rudeness and a lack of compassion towards special needs children from lifeguards and coaches. Other issues include some pools being too cold and deep for certain users, the warm pool primarily serving aerobics, the absence of family bathrooms for children with disabilities, perceived unsanitary locker rooms, and a strong chlorine odor causing eye and respiratory irritation.

I love this place. I love the pool, I love the diversity of the participants...all ages, I'm enjoying the instructors so far. I attended the fairground location for many years, but the ease of getting in and out of this pool makes it my new home. After a 5 year break due to surgery, it's good to be back. Thank you Esther and Peggy.
I love the facility and the fact that they allow kiddos with challenges to utilize the rec pool for therapy this review is not about the facility but the staff. I have witnessed the direct rudeness of one of the lifeguards, im not sure of his name but he is short, bald, and on the heavier side. Not sure what he thinks gives him the right to be rude and make fun of situations that arise that involve soecial needs children but its not warranted nor welcome your lifeguard title doesn't entitle you lets make that clear. The second complaint is against the lady swim coach on Monday that thought it was cool to roll her eyes and huff and puff when the young man (with clearly some challenges) ran and jumped into the lap pool all while mom was trying to get him before he did so. I understand the importance of your so called coaching but life happens and she needs to be a little more compassionate and understanding. My heart hurts for the mom involved. I am glad she didn't have to see the eye rolls, the jokes, and lack of help from the lifeguard who was too busy walking around cocky with his taco bell cup in hand to even try to help.
Water to cold and deep(6ft) to swim for me 5 ft . The warm swim pool was for Aerobics classes and after for all public but not for people to be able to swim more like recreational. No Family Bathroom for Kids with Disability. The employee was not Friendly and rude never comback and miss 6 months of my yearly membership.
Huge aquatic center, 22 lanes. I've come here for several high school swim meets and the pool, lane markers, and starting blocks are all in excellent, well maintained shape. My two complaints are that the restrooms/locker rooms look perpetually dirty. I'm sure they're not, but the constant water on the floor from the swimmers combined with the age of the floor/lockers/stalls make them look less than clean. Also, the amount of chlorine in the air is enough to burn my eyes and singe my nose. I'm not able to smell properly for several hours after spending an entire meet here.
Great center! Thankful to have it so close!
