What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviews for Starr Park Pool reveal significant dissatisfaction primarily due to disorganization, limited and inconsistent operating hours, and frustrating capacity management. Many visitors report excessively long lines, particularly without clear entry structures, and the pool often being closed or at capacity even when it appears empty. Despite hot summer weather, it is frequently noted that the pool's hours are too restricted, often only open on weekends, making it difficult for families to access. People was in line from both sides and they have no structure. I was in line for 1.5 hrs and they let anybody in waving they Georgia power bill and ID like they get 1st pick or something. I had 5 kids w me...they had fun wen we got in but I want be going back. I'm not Fina fight to get in the pool.
We’ve gone once this summer. The young man who checked us in was very nice. The lifeguards are on top of things. Some may find it annoying, I appreciate it. It’s hard to get in because the hours are so limited. I agree with everyone else, it’s summer and the pool should be open EVERY day. Especially with this heat. They updated hours and sent to residents through an email notice.
I’m really disappointed with Starr Park Pool. It’s Tuesday in June, the weather is hot, but the pool is only open on weekends—which makes no sense when kids are out of school and families are looking for local ways to stay cool. I decided to give it another try and came back on a Friday, just 45 minutes after opening, and was told they were at capacity. But when I looked inside, there were maybe 30 people total, including staff and lifeguards—even though the website says the max capacity is 150. That just doesn’t add up. To make things worse, I was told I could wait, but there was no estimate at all for when we’d be able to swim. That’s not a reasonable way to manage guests, especially those with young kids who are excited and ready to swim. Starr Park Pool needs to do better.
Ghetto and filthy park. It rained when we got there and they closed the pool and said they would open in 2 hrs. The pool hours are a lie they are open everyday not just weekends. We left because a "church" was doing an exorcism at the park. And the area is just gross.
This is for all the people that know it's too hot and just wanna jump into the nearest pool. It's closed. I know what the schedule says on the site, it's closed damn near all the time, you'll have to find somewhere else.
