Staff was amazing, grounds were beautiful, and the food was decent as well. A great venue for a wedding cocktail hour followed by reception. Enjoyed the inventive shrimp cocktail hors d'oeuvres... beautiful, easy to handle, and nicely chilled.

I LOVE photographing wedding venues that have spacious landscape for gorgeous portraits as well as great locations for getting ready and hosting the event! The Country Club of the South is the perfect venue for any couple who wants a luxurious southern chic wedding day! I would highly recommend!

I am disappointed with my experience with this venue. I contacted them and initially Andrea ( Andreja) responded quickly & we were able to schedule a time for me to tour. I went the next day. The place was really beautiful but compared to all the wedding venues I’ve toured ( which typically last from an hour to an hour and a half), the time she took to show me around was 30 min. I felt very rushed and she was not prepared with the proper breakdown of all we will need to pay for the day we requested. Since I booked my tour very quickly, I thought maybe she didn’t have enough time to prepare so I asked her to email it to me. This was about 3 weeks ago and I still haven’t received it. I don’t recommend this place based on the experience I had.

I did a delivery here last night and two of the gates were broken. I got pretty lost in the neighborhood and was scared because I was about to run out of gas. Luckily, I ran into the security or patrol and he was able to point me in the direction where the main gate was. Very grateful. If he hadn’t realized I was lost and came to find me, I don’t know what I would’ve done.
