Child-friendly recreational spot featuring multiple pools, slides and a play area.
Ivywild Pool is a heated outdoor facility, ensuring comfortable swimming conditions for its patrons during its operating season.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? Ivywild Pool is largely praised as an affordable and enjoyable destination for families, particularly those with young children, with costs typically ranging from $11-14 per family session. It offers amenities such as changing rooms, bathrooms, a concession stand, and allows outside food and drinks. The facilities are generally clean, and kids enjoy the small slides and fountains; there are also larger slides available for those who pass a swim test. While some reviewers appreciate the less strict lifeguard presence compared to other pools, one significant negative experience detailed unfair swim test failures and unprofessional behavior from lifeguards, including laughing at and talking negatively in front of a family. The main pool water can be cold, though the kiddie areas are noted as suitable for young children.

This is the best place to come with young kids. The water isn't too cold or too deep. It's extremely adorable. I pay $14 for myself and 3 young kids. You can bring in your own food and drink and they also have a concession stand. Changing rooms and bathrooms also. If you get there when they open there are spots in the shade. My kids love the small kid sized slides and fountains, they never want to leave!
Pool is great my kids love it here but after so many years of coming finally got the bad experience. My 6 year old child that has done swim classes and has passed the swim test every year for past 2 years. 2 life guards fails him which was bs he did all the requirements.1 lifeguard failed him first and then we went and got manager on hand. What does she do tells him she doesn’t feel comfortable with him so immediately he is al ready going to say the same thing. He did what he was suppose to Overhand, Went to the rope and back without stopping and didn’t even act out of breath. Everyone even watching was baffled. Then the two lifeguards decided to laugh and talk shit right there in front of us. horrible experience. Trust me I get it if he was struggling out of breath or going super slow but that kid did it 2 times like a pro with no issues and they failed him both times for just they don’t feel comfortable with him right now. Never had issues until today and really irks me. In fact I see no lifeguards smiling or being happy unless they are talking crap.
1st time at Ivywild pool. Cost: We paid $14 for our family of 4 for the 1 pm to 3 pm session. (Tuesday) Hours: The hours of operation are listed in the picture below. The pool has 3 x 2 hour sessions. Starting at 1 pm ending at 830pm. Environment: The pool water was cold, but that didn't stop kids from having fun. The locker room/bathroom, pool, and seating areas were clean. There are 3 water slides in the main pool, but kids must pass a swim test in order to use them. They place a wrist band on them if they passed. There are two small slides in the kiddie pool with no known age restrictions. Atmosphere: I enjoyed seeing kids being kids without the lifeguards whistling at you for everything (like at the meridian pool).
Spent the hot day during family time. Our family of 5 enjoyed the pool from 1-3pm for $11! Great way to keep cool!
This place is great. If your looking to have a great time or just sit by the pool.
