One reviewer noted an improved experience after an initial issue, with staff making amends and showing kindness. However, significant criticisms include poor communication regarding pool closures and schedule changes, leading to frustration and wasted travel. This ymca is not the best, I go here with friends and family every once in a while but omg everytime it disappoints. For example today I went with my mom and sisters and we already knew that the 50 meter pool had been closed for maintenance. When we got there wasn't any problems, we got in and after 15 minutes the lifeguard tells us that it's closing for swim lessons in 15 minutes. We had never heard of this or was told. We drove 30 minutes here to stay for 30. The staff don't know how to communicate.
To anyone that seen my last review. I'm not afraid to admit I was wrong. This person that I'm not going to name. Is a better person then I ever thought. And this person made things right. And apologized for being wrong. And told me that she could have dealt with the situation a lot better I appreciate the kindness of all that are there. They are all doing a great job. To make things fun for All
I am very grateful for the support of the staff at this YMCA. To name a few: Matt, Jerry, Steve, and Volynn. They befriend you and help you feel welcome. I’ve been able to bounce ideas off them and genuinely get good feedback and tips. I’m very appreciative of the staff and the facility.
I've always been welcomed here in this YMCA...even as a guest B4 my membership w no different treatment. Roy, Karen, the leadership here as it dripples down to the 2 young men at the front desk are heroic and undescribable when it comes to words..thx guys for making me feel at home Gratefully, ~Bobby🐝~
I’ve been going for 10 years, won’t anymore, my daughter and other teenage girls were in the female locker room when an adult male entered and showered in there, the YMCA is allowing it! Ask them yourselves, yes I have reported it, and yes they still allow it. Yes I have reported it, “making sure everyone feels safe” doesn’t apply to underage girls I suppose.
