Membership-only outdoor pool with a snack bar and kids' areas like a spray park.
Specific temperature information for the BCYF Mirabella Pool is generally not published, as it is an outdoor, salt-water pool. It is not typically heated, meaning its temperature naturally fluctuates with the ambient air temperature and sun exposure during its operational season in the warmer months.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? Mirabella Pool receives generally high praise for its beauty, cleanliness, and well-maintained facilities, offering stunning views of Charlestown, the skyline, and the harbor. Reviewers appreciate the varied pool depths (including a deep and a lap pool), available shade, and amenities like aqua aerobics and sufficient changing facilities. Many consider it a city gem and wish Boston had more outdoor pools like it. However, there are significant drawbacks and concerns: the pool is strictly for "Boston residents only," which is a major point of frustration for non-residents. Some wish the water were warmer. A serious concern was raised about a specific lifeguard reportedly flirting with underage females. Additionally, post-COVID, hours are reduced and require registration, and visitors are advised to bring their own chairs as the lounge area is concrete.

Nice and clean pools. Water could be a little bit warmer to my liking. They have plenty of shades on one side swimming pools. Larger pool was 4-5 feet deep and smaller one 8 feet. They are having aqua aerobics once a week. Did I mention the views? Omg the view from there is amazing. Charlestown feels like you can touch it with your hand. The boats…
NOT a public pool, its for "Boston residents only" per the website. Sucks for us after spending $150 in bathing suits/towels, walking 20 mins to be shunned away. No pay option or anything, just nope, go away. But good news, you can chill by the splash pad for free.
I'm a return vastonian show, please buy the professionalist and cloneliness fun factor and overall great customer service.I've never been to a pool. That's more beautiful and well kept Thank you Marabella for making my summer. Gratefully, Maura FitzGerald
It’s a nice non-crowded pool, but the only problem is there’s one particular lifeguards that likes to flirt with the under age females that come here so be aware.
I love Mirabella, i wish Boston had more outdoor pools like this one. Hours have reduced after Covid but you can still get a good swim session in by registering and signing up on the BYCF website. Bring chairs if you need- the area where you lounge is concrete. There is a deep pool and a longer lap pool with shallower depths. Lifeguards on duty and the bathrooms have sufficient space for changing/washing. A gem of a city pool! Skyline views and a breeze off the harbor make it so special here!
