What are people saying (AI review summary)? The YMCA receives widespread praise for its diverse and high-quality class offerings, including strength training, yoga, cardio, and specific shout-outs for Latoya’s spin classes. Instructors, such as Latoya, Lisa, Cassandra, Marina, and Gentry, are consistently described as passionate, expert, and energetic. The facility itself is noted for being spacious, well-equipped with modern and well-maintained gear, and having clean locker rooms leading to the pool. Many members find the staff, especially at the front desk, welcoming and helpful, contributing to a great vibe and community feel. Soccer classes are also positively mentioned for friendly and patient teachers. However, a significant negative point is raised regarding the facility's family-friendliness, with one family reporting being asked to leave with an infant (who was not disruptive) and encountering issues with unexpectedly closed child watch. There was also an observation of unsupervised children engaging in inappropriate behavior outside the entrance, with staff seemingly unresponsive. This indicates a strong positive experience for individual adult fitness, but a notable area of concern for families with young children.

The YMCA is a gem! I love the incredible variety of classes they offer—there’s truly something for everyone, whether you're into strength training, yoga, or high-energy cardio. The instructors are top-notch, bringing passion and expertise to every session. The facility itself is spacious and well-equipped with modern gear that makes every workout feel smooth and efficient. But what really sets this place apart is the staff—especially at the front desk. They’re consistently welcoming, helpful, and make you feel like part of the community from the moment you walk in. My absolute favorite class is Latoya’s Beats and Bikes spin. When she pulls out her special notebook and fires up her jamming playlist, you know you're in for a ride. Her energy is contagious, and she somehow makes every class feel like a party on wheels. If you're looking for a place that combines great people, great workouts, and a great vibe—this is it. 🚴♀️🎶💪
The group exercise classes are excellent and offered at a variety of times, making it easy to find options that fit my schedule. The instructors are great, especially Lisa, Cassandra, Marina, and Gentry!! The exercise machines are also new, well-maintained, and user-friendly.
This facility is not family friendly. When walking up to the entrance, there was a group of kids calling each other names including swears and derogatory names and trying to fight each other, this was with staff inside looking out the windows watching them and doing nothing. We go into the building with our three kids, 11, 3, and son who is a week and a half away from being 1. We check in and everything seems fine. My husband was walking with our son as I worked out. After about 20 minutes, we were asked to leave the facility as someone complained that my husband was walking with our infant son, who was not crying, yelling, or doing anything. In fact, he was intrigued by the sounds of basketball. We had never had this be an issue before as we did this same thing with our 3 year old for 6 months when she was an infant. This facility only wants to have pre-teen and teenagers or single adults, they are not kind to families or inclusive of families with younger children although there are other Y locations that are and do not randomly decide that this one day it’s an issue to walk with our infant because they had what looked like executives there looking at the gym. If you have an infant under the age of 1 (which is when this locations child watch starts) do not go here. We did have an issue with child watch previously where they were supposed to be open, schedule said it was available and when we got there, it was completely closed and no one knew why so we had to leave. This location is a waste of a membership.
My son feels very happy and the teacher who gives them soccer classes is very friendly and has a lot of patience.
Everything is great. I love the locker rooms, nice and clean, and most of all it leads to the pool area. I have not tried the sauna. Will do, next time..
