What are people saying (AI review summary)? The Olympic-sized indoor pool is generally praised for its spaciousness, heated water, and a shallow end suitable for teaching young children. It offers amenities like a diving board, splash pad, and slide, though availability for these features, particularly the diving board and slide, can be inconsistent due to staffing. While some families highly recommend it for its friendly staff and lack of sun exposure, reviews are mixed, especially regarding its suitability for children aged 8-12 and its operational policies. A common point of contention is the lifeguards' strictness, which some patrons find excessive (e.g., scolding for minor actions, banning foam toys, confusing swim test instructions), leading to negative experiences for children. Conversely, some defend the strict rules as necessary for safety. Another significant issue is the limited and often confusing hours, particularly for families, with kids' access restricted to specific days and times, and some days being adults-only, largely attributed to lifeguard availability. While excellent for lap swimming, families with older children may encounter challenges due to strict rules and restricted access.

Been taking my family here all summer and we love it. The shallow end is perfect for me to splash around and teach my daughter how to swim. Since it's Olympic size, there's lots of room for everyone. The deep end has a diving board which is great, I just wish it was open more often. The staff is very friendly as well, Since it's indoors you don't have to worry about cooking in the sun either. Overall, my family and I really love this place and look forward to getting up there for a swim as often as we can!
Great for lap swim, but that's about it. I wouldn’t recommend this pool for kids between 8 and 12. After waiting nearly two years to return, my son and I were excited to finally get back in—but the experience was completely different from what we had prior to the closure. We were repeatedly scolded by lifeguards, including one instance where we were told we were “diving” into the shallow end. In reality, we were just pushing head first off the edge—no head-first plunges, no unsafe behavior. We weren't really allowed to use toys as you can't throw anything, to include a soft foam water toys. We also attempted the deep-end swim test, but the instructions kept changing. The lifeguard gave conflicting directions and then told us we were doing it wrong, even when we tried to follow exactly what was asked. After a couple tries, my son was left confused and discouraged. (This was also after I had personally made him swim back and forth in the lap area.) We left disappointed. It’s unfortunate that what should’ve been a fun, confidence-building visit turned into such a negative experience.
85 degrees on a Saturday in August, And it’s adults only - all day. And 3 people in the pool. Such a disappointment.
The lifeguards are strict, but we all want to be safe. The pool is enourmous, plenty of room for open swim the splash pad is great for little ones and the slide has to be manned by three or more life guards to be open. Safety is the goal, not wether you can do a cannonball off the shallow end. I’ve been going to this pool for 4 yrs now and it’s great. Oh yea the pool is heated and if it’s off a degree or two and it bothers snowflakes because they melt you can always turn up the heat in your bathtub. 😮
Pool is fine if you can get in. Lifeguards are limited so hours can be shorter and if you have kids only a couple days a week with limited hours. Open to kids on Saturday and then 4-7pm for a couple weekdays. Make sure to check otherwise you will just waste your time.
