Spray Park @ 200 Trapelo Road in Waltham, MA, is a popular seasonal public water playground. This facility offers various sprayers, fountains, and nozzles, providing a fun and free way for children and families to cool off and play during the warmer months.
As a spray park, the water is typically unheated and at ambient municipal water temperatures. Specific pool temperatures are not usually provided or maintained, as its primary function is seasonal cooling.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? The park is generally well-regarded as a beautiful, clean, and diverse community space, particularly appreciated by children and for its inclusive amenities for people with special needs. However, key areas for improvement include the need for more restrooms and significantly more shading, as current awnings are insufficient. There are also concerns about unclear operating hours or the park closing too early, especially during summer, and a desire for more consistent visits from ice cream trucks.
Reviews
Great park for the community and something the kids will love/ enjoy especially in the summertime. But they need more accommodations for restrooms and more shading for there's way too much sun/ heat. not enough shading. The awnings they have aren't nearly enough. And ice cream trucks need to pass through consistently!!!. And the park closes too early!! Especially for the summertime.
