What are people saying (AI review summary)? This YMCA location is highly praised for its attentive, kind, and professional staff, particularly in the child watch program which is described as amazing and genuinely engaging for kids. Members appreciate the 'perfect' mid-size gym, noting its well-maintained and numerous cardio machines, good fitness and weight areas, a nice pool, stretching zone, circuit training room, studios, and a sauna. Many prefer this branch over the larger, more crowded Silverdale location due to its staff quality and comfortable size. Long-term members consider it a 'home away from home'. However, a recurring issue mentioned is loud music playing at 5:30 AM on Mondays, which has been disruptive to a nearby resident, with staff appearing unresponsive to complaints.

The child watch is AMAZING. The workers are all so attentive and truly love kids. My kids would call the staff their friends. I always felt really good dropping my them off. They would do lots of fun activities, read, and a nice little outdoor area when the weather was nice. We moved to another state and we all miss going here! The gym is also really great. Has a nice big pool and all the machines worked. The silverdale is bigger but it’s crazy crowded and overwhelming that I actually liked coming here more. This gym still has a lot of machines and thought it was perfect size for a gym.
Love the YMCA. Don't love being woken up at 5:30am by loud music. Called to ask them to turn it down and they seemed unbothered by it. It's been several Monday's now and I'm woken up every morning.
This place has been a part of my life since it first opened; when it was just the pool. The addition of the YMCA has just made it better. It’s my home away from home.
Very nice midsize YMCA. Over a couple dozen new or very well maintained cardio machines in the cardio room. Fitness equipment and free weights and different area, all of which are in good shape. No platforms, but does have a nice area for stretching and other activities. Also has a separate room for circuit training. A couple studios upstairs along with a sauna outside. Nice pool area and locker rooms. Has a couple game areas for kids as well.
The staff is what really shines about this location. Silverdale is prettier but I appreciate the kind and attentive staff here. I had a issue and they took the time to address it in a courteous and professional manner that helped put aside my concerns. This went a long way in my book.
