What are people saying (AI review summary)? Guests at the Americana Resort and Spa report a mixed experience, often praising the clean and spacious rooms, particularly for families with bunk beds. The water park is generally enjoyed by children, though some note it appears smaller than in pictures. Front desk staff, specifically Jasmin and Lucy, consistently receive high commendation for their friendliness, helpfulness, and professional service. However, several significant issues are frequently highlighted: extremely expensive daily parking fees ($25-$28) are a major source of frustration, with guests suggesting it should be included or discounted. Other common complaints include the lack of complimentary breakfast, which is often described as costly and having cold food, and an unusable gym (reportedly under renovation). There were also specific incidents, such as a child's new shorts being ruined by a slide substance without adequate resolution, and a notable instance of a guest experiencing no hot water for multiple days due to a 'boiler issue,' leading to initial insufficient compensation, though full parking refunds and free breakfast vouchers were eventually provided after further complaints. The cleanliness of the hot tub was also questioned once. Overall, while many families enjoy their stay, these recurring issues significantly impact value for money and guest satisfaction, with calls for management to address them.

Hi My name is Florian I was yesterday for the second time and my kids was really enjoying the waterpark also the room was very clean and nice organized, the reception staff was very nice and friendly especially Lucy. I think I am going to bring my kids over again once I got the chance. A small issue with the parking which I think has to be included. Otherwise I am happy to come again. Thank you for your good service
We had such a wonderful time here as a family! Our kids absolutely loved the place, and we all enjoyed every moment. We originally planned to stay for one night, but ended up extending it for another night because we loved it so much. A huge thank you to Jasmin at the front desk-she was incredibly kind, helpful, and went above and beyond to assist us. Her warm attitude made a big difference in our stay. We will definitely be coming back again!
Hi All, I booked Americana Resort and Spa through Groupon for 2 nights (a junior suite with water park access). Check-in was easy, and the front desk staff were friendly, professional, and helpful. Our room was huge with a balcony, one bunk bed for the kids, super clean, and everything was functional. We all loved it. The water park is not as big as it looks in the pictures, but we still had lots of fun, even with the limited operating hours. The water park staff were also friendly and professional. However, we had one issue: my 12-year-old son used one of the slides, and some black liquid substance (looked like sealant or glue) stuck all over his brand-new shorts. I reported this to the water park supervisor, who apologized but did not offer replacement shorts even after I requested it. This was disappointing, and we had to throw the shorts away because they would have stained our hotel room. Other issues we faced: Parking – No free parking, and it’s extremely expensive at $28.25 per night. I’ve never seen such high parking fees compared to nearby hotels. Very frustrating and disappointing. Even after requesting, no discount or free parking was offered. Breakfast – No free breakfast, not even basic bread or buns. You have to pay extra after already paying a hefty amount for the room, which makes the stay even more costly. Gym – They don’t have a usable gym. When I asked, they told me it was “under renovation.” I would like to tell Americana resort management: please address these issues. Don’t ruin your reputation with things like this. Families work hard and spend a lot of money on short trips, and we just want to create good memories. Please value your guests and make the experience enjoyable instead of disappointing. Thanks to Groupon.ca, which always provides excellent customer service and support. Thank you.
The room was overall really nice, I enjoyed the waterpark as well. The water was never cloudy and I could always see my feet even when 4 feet within the water. They are cute lily pad float that me, my sister and cousin had really enjoyed. The breakfast buffet was decent. I didn't get much food because I didn't like it that much. The bacon was good but the food was cold. I did get two slices of the French toast and by the time I got back to my table it was cold.
We’ve been here since Sunday, and have two nights left on our reservation. The room is decent, but from the time we checked in we haven’t had a drop of hot water. We called the desk shortly after arriving to advise, and were told it was due to the time of day (with everyone leaving the water park and showering). Since then still absolutely no hot water (not even lukewarm). After a freezing cold shower yesterday, headed down to the water park with the hope of warming up in the hot tub, only to find they had a ton of foam with large brown streaks floating on the top. Called the desk again this morning and were told there is a “boiler issue” that is being worked on (which it seems they did actually know about when we originally called). Offered to refund us our parking fee for two nights, which is about $50 compensation for being unable to shower for three days and counting (especially since it seems ridiculous that they charge paying guests $25/day to park in the first place). Not happy at all. UPDATE: After complaining again, we were refunded all of our parking fees and given free vouchers for breakfast.
