About

The Skyline Hotel & Waterpark, located at 4800 Bender St, Niagara Falls, ON L2G 3K1, Canada, is a family-friendly accommodation known for its direct indoor connection to the 3-acre Fallsview Indoor Waterpark. It offers convenient access to major Niagara Falls attractions, providing a fun and comfortable stay for guests, especially families with children.

The pools within the connected Fallsview Indoor Waterpark are generally heated to a comfortable temperature, typically maintained between 80-84°F (27-29°C), to ensure a pleasant experience for all guests. Hot tubs are usually kept at warmer temperatures.

What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviews for this hotel are largely negative, though some guests noted its excellent proximity to Niagara Falls and the appeal of the connected waterpark for children. Major criticisms include pervasive issues with cleanliness and maintenance, such as worn and dirty carpets, moldy bathrooms, peeling wallpaper, and outdated rooms. Several guests reported significant safety concerns, particularly with easily detached window screens creating a fall hazard for children. Customer service was frequently described as dismissive, unprofessional, and unresponsive, with long wait times for assistance and unfulfilled requests for basic supplies or cleaning. Other common complaints involve high-priced parking, the lack of in-room microwaves (with a single shared one causing long queues), unbearable noise levels from other guests, and severe overcrowding in both the lobby/check-in area and the waterpark. While the waterpark itself was enjoyed by some, many guests felt the hotel failed to meet basic standards of comfort, cleanliness, and value for the price, leading to strong recommendations against staying there.

Visited Canada from Ohio. This is a 3 and a half star experience. It’s not Hilton, or Ritz but for the traffic that this hotel gets it’s decent. The carpets throughout the place have seen better days. But if hundreds to thousands of people are going to be tracing back and forth from a water park I can’t expect much, but please consider getting it replaced, it one of the reasons I refused to walk barefoot anywhere. Wear beach shoes. The staff were great. At the last min 2 of my guest were unable to come, they were able to downgrade my room saving me a few bucks so that’s always good. Only stayed one night. The proximity to the falls is outstanding. I spent most of my time in the hot tub at the water park. This trip was for my daughter’s birthday and she had a blast 💥 so I am satisfied. For our first trip out of the US it was good.

Parking was HORRIBLE! Enough said. Way overpriced! For the price we paid, breakfast should have been included! This hotel is a DO NOT STAY! They claimed it is a fire hazard to have a microwave in a hotel room.....This is the first time I have ever heard of such nonsense! Not okay to take a screaming baby to a whole other floor to heat up a bottle. Not acceptable at all, especially when you have to wait cause there is a line to use ONE microwave for many many many people. Not to mention, the room was outdated, and 100% a fall hazard for a small child. We stayed on the 3rd floor and the window screen just popped out like NOTHING. My toddlers could have fallen to their death. Very easy for a child to climb and boom! Lawsuit waiting to happen and fatality. NOT SAFE AT ALL FOR SMALL CHILDREN! There should be safety locks on the windows (cages)! I would NEVER stay there again. The air did not work, had to fight with hotel staff to get towels and pillows (and we still did not get enough to accommodate all us) and the tub would not drain properly! DO NOT stay here! The ONLY plus was that it was connected to the Waterpark. Other then that, complete TRASH!

Recently stayed here for 3 nights while visiting Niagara/Toronto from New Jersey. Overall a good experience. We up-paid for Waterpark access on our 1st day which my husband and 9yo son really enjoyed, despite it being very hot inside. During that time we had our luggage stored in their 'secure room' until check in at 4pm. We were given coat-check style slips for it but its basically a locked closet FULL of peoples luggage. No one confirmed our slips at the end, so if you have real valuables/passports, keep it on you. As other people stated, the lobby and check-in process was nuts. Huge line, tons of people, very chaotic. It was a real scene!! Be prepared to carry your luggage up lots of stairs. Despite the stairs, a 2nd floor room meant a pretty quiet stay. I was worried about noise but it wasn't a problem (we also packed a sound machine). Temperature was comfortable and our room was clean enough. Beds/bedding seemed clean and bathroom was decent. We didn't use housekeeping but I asked the front desk during a quiet time for more toilet paper and towels. She took our room number and said they'd be sent up. They never were. On the bright side, location is amazing. You can walk to the falls in 5 minutes. Our experience with the parking lot was pretty much fine. Thankfully no issues with our car/contents and with lots of coming and going we only needed to use the 'overflow lot' one time. There's room for improvement here (get rid of all the dirty carpet!!!) but overall, we had a good stay. The good outweighed the bad.

This was unfortunately the worst hotel experience I’ve had. Upon entering our room, it was immediately clear that it had not been properly cleaned or cleaned at all. The bathroom had moldy walls and curtains, with hair left on both the shower curtain and tub. The air quality was very poor — the vents and filters clearly need to be cleaned, as my children were coughing throughout the night. The beds were uncomfortable, and the noise level was unbearable. We could hear constant banging on the walls, children running, and people shouting late into the night, making it nearly impossible to sleep. Customer service was equally disappointing. When I raised my concerns, the front desk staff member was dismissive and unprofessional, as though I was asking for a favor rather than addressing a legitimate issue with a service I paid for. After waiting nearly an hour for assistance, we were only brought basic supplies (soap and conditioner). I agreed when asked if I wanted the room cleaned, but no one ever returned to do so. Overall, this hotel failed to meet even basic standards of cleanliness, comfort, and professionalism. Based on this experience, I would not recommend Skyline Hotel Niagara Falls and will not be returning.

My family and I usually love it here! This was our fourth visit, and the worst. We paid extra for a room upgrade providing bunk beds for our kids. For a premium price, the room was disappointing. It started on check in. We did so online but still had to wait in a line that took over an hour to get our room keys. Upon entry, we noticed wallpaper was literally hanging and falling off the walls. The outlet in the washroom had a huge burn mark on it (dollar store fix), alarm clock did not work and our cheap universal tv remote did not work properly with the outdated tv. There were dust bunnies and a pile of hair in the washroom corner. I understand this is the last week of summer before school starts and it’s very busy BUT there has to be a cap on how many people are allowed day passes. The whole waterpark was so overcrowded. The outdoor pool was so congested you couldn’t move without bumping in to someone. Same with the main pool. It really took away from our experience having booked in advance. They clearly aren’t putting money into upkeeping the grounds, so why be so greedy to accept every walk in and ruin it for returning guests that had a reservation? I understand that this place isn’t a 5 star and we go in knowing and understanding this. This visit on all levels was disappointing.
